New to PCP.
So new, I do not even own one or have ever shot one, that will change as so as I decided which one to buy.
I'm 63 and have been shooting firearms and Archery since 12. Shoot in the local cast match.
I reload for everything I shoot. Cast my own bullets, make my own lube.
I used to teach Archery.
Having fun with my Co2 and pumper pistols.
So PCP is the next logical step.

welcome to HAM
what all have you looked at?
I like the AAA EVOL line the biuld quality is amazing.
and I also like the BRK guns very good quality guns that dont have to break the bank.
you should be able to find all the help and input you want around here

Thank you,
My budget is small, so wanting to stay 6-700
Been looking at the Marauder but seems big and bulky, and Zelos.
I want accuracy and reliability.

Hello and welcome to HAM.

AoA has a good selection of used, but before that possibly throws you off, they do sell new old stock as “used” from time to time. As a matter of fact, they have a Benjamin Akela .22 that caught my eye. Nothing like new the box without the new price tag.

I have purchased two “new old stock” air guns from them and have been very happy with both.

Hope your PCP journey is a good one 👍.

Welcome to our HAMlet.

For me: What CO2 and Pumpers are you enjoying, and which is your favorite?

For you: Maybe this will help you refine your search. 🔴 Decision Tool for "What gun should I buy?" 🔵 🔴 Decision Tool for "What gun should I buy?" 🔵

Thank you,
That's a good tool to help make a purchase decision.
Right now I have:
Crosman Classic 1377 .177 pumper
Crosman MKI .22 Co2
Crosman 66 Power Master .177 pumper rifle in the process of refurbishing.
And I ordered a Marauder pistol frame to build on.

I've bought four used pcp air rifles from Airguns Of Arizona and all have worked fine. Some like new and a few older rifles. Their service is top notch and I enjoy dealing with them. Shipping from Arizona is four days to where I live. That's my two cents! And welcome to the forum.

I like dropping lowball bids on gunbroker.com. Occasionally you get a nice rifle for a very sweet price.

Was expecting my latest, a RAW HM1000x, today. But as usual UPS failed to deliver. I hate that company.

Condor .25 for $250
FX Bobcat .30 for $650
Evanix Sniper X2 for $575

They are pretty rare wins.
Only bidding wars I've got in to were for some 20+ years old British wood stock rifles.
I drop bids every week or two, especially on the 1 cent opening bid guns.

I just think about what I would consider a reasonable price and knock off 15-20%.

HM1000x bid was 888.88 and it sold for 855.
Yea I looked thru the site tonight and all pcp rifles were a little high. Takes a close look on the site to get a deal.

Great guns! I've had all these before I sold them getting my pcp collection started. I'm 64 so I have had a lot of airguns in my lifetime! Powder burners too but no talk about them here.
