I currently have an 18" barrel on my Talon Pistol, and it zips 33 grain pellets (@900fps) very nicely out to 75 yards. I have the idea of fitting a 24" barrel onto the frame so I can go out past that distance with these pellets. The air gun already has a 500cc tank on it, so I'm not worried about shot count. I'm just wondering if the short frame can support the extra barrel length.

Are the two barrel bushings in the same place as the Talon and Condor. If they are then yes it should. The power difference is significant when going to the 24" barrel. Especially if you add a Huben Power regulator with a plenum.

I have a 24" in one of my Talon rifles. Absolutely no issues with accuracy. I have a pretty light moderator, Reximex Silent Force Long, to keep the flex to a minimum (also $24 plus shipping).

This is what I get with the .25 24" barrel, huben power MAX-ATH regulator set to 1750psi and H&N Barracuda. Crank the psi up and the .25 pellet will go supersonic.

Bushings spaced on my rifle are roughly 3 5/8"/91mm O.C. according to the set screws. I thought I'd try this mod first before going to a regulator and 4500 bottle.

Same as on my 12" and 19" barrels. I think you are good to go.

Might want to get the pressure down a bit before testing. It will toss the pellets a lot faster. Regulator really helps. My .22 Talon is set at 1500psi, the .25 are set at 1750psi. Depending on pellet weight i get 850-950FPS

I love the 24" barrel. Now I want a 30" barrel but that is custom.

Talon Tunes has a .257 24" and a .30 24" conversion.

I'll probably turn my .25 Condor into a .30 with a 120cc plenum.
