I can’t overstate the peace of mind that comes with owning only AirForce airguns. Every other brand I’ve owned had so many seals, I was constantly worried about leaks. My life’s too busy to deal with malfunctioning, leaky guns. Now, I don’t stare at pressure gauges or run shots over a chronograph to check if a regulator failed. No worrying about POI shift—I just shoot and don’t think twice.

I will be picking Mine up tomorrow! I may just get rid of the XM1 and stick with the JTS Standard and the Condor SS

Ha! I hope when mine shows up, it's not mostly Polymer like one of My AR's, lol

Some polymer on a Condor SS, but not "mostly."

Had one arrive yesterday. For polymer it's the :grip, and forend, end cap where the projectile leaves (I think) power wheel, sliding breech, trigger pad. The bulk of the thing (frame and tank) is anodized aluminum.

Never had an interest in them. I tried one once, sold it within days. Terrible stamped steel construction and possibly one of the worst triggers I have ever experienced. I guess YMMV.
I felt this way too, but they are rugged, and even with rough handling the poi doesn't shift and there are so few parts it's refreshing at this point.

To your point on stamped steel I would add plastic to that list too. There is no reason to have not improved on this.

As for the trigger, I had removed that auto safety cocking piece already and just today my trigger would not fire for some reason. I re-engaged the safety and then disengaged it and the gun fired. I was not t f happy about that! My milage isn't going to vary too much, I'm taking this thing apart and fixing it right. I am getting rid of the other thing that bothers me and that is the pins they use. You just would not believe how much I hate those kind of pins. I am through bolting those parts. When I want to take apart a gun, I want to do just that, I don't want to be swinging a hammer at it. Plus every time you take those out you are beating up the gun, just plain stupid. You should be able to work on your gun repeatedly without damaging anything.

I still think that it is a little beast though. The power that it puts out for its size, the simplicity, the toughness, it is worth my time to make it right.

Curious about the trigger issue after removing the auto safety toggle. Let us know what you find out will you?

@PasadenaMike For me the HPA bottles as butt stocks? Simply a non starter, that plus, performance aside, the aesthetics don’t appeal to me. And as a single shot? It has zero practical useage to me for pesting. Sometimes, a quick follow up shot is necessary. Glad, that after having owned many PCPs you are happy with your AirForce PCPs.

I took mine apart the other day to remove the auto safety toggle.Really easy to do. I removed the bottle. Finally!! Couple tappy taps with punch and lightest hammer. 8I unscrewed the cocking handle pulled the stupid plastic breech hammer thingy turned the gun upside down , pushed the safety off, the auto toggle fell out. Back on knee ,3 or four taps with hammer and punch pin back in. Put hammer breech thingy back in screwed in cocking handle. Bottleback on hand tight against spin loc collar tighten spin collar Allen screw . Done! No banging , no pounding . A couple light taps pin in pin out. Done on my knee In my folding lawn chair.

Be fair, Mike on how many of the other brands you owned did you actually have leaks? Over worries about potential leaks? You and I have owned certain PCPs in common. None of those in my stable have leaked yet. It’s great that you’ve settled on AirForce PCPs, but there are lots of other great choices out there that do “more”…

I myself have only owned 2 Regulated Guns. Avenger and XM1 Ranger bought new and barley a few hundred shots through it . Both leaked. The XM1 is a slow leak, the Avenger was Stolen by a so-called Air Smith. My JTS Standard Airacuda Has never leaked. That is why my New gun is Airforce.

Nearly all of them leaked—Hatsan, Benjamin, FX, BRK, Edgun, Air Arms, and Seneca. But I’ve never had a single issue with AirForce or any Snowpeak variant. The Avengers have also been rock solid.

Guess you had unusual bad luck. I have owned five different brands of PCPs. Not one leaked still own three different brands, no leaks…🙏

My talon p has leaked from the fill nipple. De gassed popped another in and aired up. That was 4 years ago. My lelya 2.0 leaked from the reservoir in the first year I got it. Only leak so far easy fix too.
