Thatās right . This now sober air-a-holic only has two Airguns. I decided to just keep my Talon P and Condor SS in .25. Iāve listed all the ammo for sale in .22. The talon ss is gone.

I like the idea of only a couple like you've gotten down to. Heck, one of your two is currently part of my gaggle of airguns. BUT, I'd have to really minimize the types and ways that I enjoy airguns to be able to only have two. The various types of airgun competitions that I take part in, and classes within them, account for a large part of my variation in airguns. Then there's the specialty use cases like practicing offhand with 10m guns in the garage during the winter. And then that I've got two boys that sometimes shoot with me and passing around the same gun while we're shooting would kinda suck the fun out of it. So there's a couple guns in the 19fpe realm for that reason.
Not naming names, these are my use-cases:
20fpe field target for me
20fpe field target for oldest son (this gun doubles as the sneaky pester, b/c it's super short in the OAL category)
20fpe field target for youngest son
Long range/low fpe slugger
High power field target, limited to pellets
12fpe field target, pistol class
10m offhand practice, scoped
10m offhand practice, diopter
Current project gun of using .25 cast slugs as a means of recycling lots and lots and lots of lead. So, the "heavy hitter."
I could maybe get rid of the diopter sighted 10m gun. And if the boys don't continue to have interest when they're older, at least one of those duplicates in that category. And the .25 Condor and cast slug project is a trial basis situation.
Point I'm trying to make is if a guy only does one thing with an airgun, and shoots alone, capping it at one or two is possible. But being involved with them enough to have specialized uses..... An example: I sure wouldnt want to be containing 50, 60, 70 fpe out of the .25 in the garage for offhand practice.

I have only a few airguns compared to some but even the few I have I sometime feel I neee another for something else.
at the moment I fight the urge to get into slugs for that very reason.
I am thinking about seeing up for some night varmints and that will be yet another gun and scope.
then the wife well she has her own couple of guns and again if I go for the night time varmints it will be two gun and tw night scope ; 0
I can imagine going into the competing because as mention that would lead to more even yet.

Id be ok with just a Talon P but i always need a backup gun in the field just in case

Honestly I could keep it down to 3....that's as low as I'd go, ever
. 1 springer, 2 pcps. Airgun life has its ebbs and flows (time/weather to shoot) but the love has never left me and I don't think ever will. My go-to airgun has to be my S510, 30fpe in .22 is just plain sweet, without being overkill, just a mite too long. I will never be without a springer, and I'd really like a good break barrel someday. My Ghost is the wild card, very tuneable, overkill for what I do with it, multi caliber, very customizable, and so so good as a walk n stalk pester.

That's all I have as well. I was considering replacing the .25 cal I sold, but the .308 Texan covers everything I hunt: raccoons, woodchucks, possums, and coyotes. I also have an AEA .357 big bore side lever.

I have two, and have only had two for sometime now. Simple reliable are what I've chosen to stick with. The only thing that would intice me for another is if AAA comes out with a slug dedicated 15" hps, and I dont even need it
it may take a while but a slug gun is some I hope to have in the futer and nothin over 15 more 14 wouldn't hurt my feelings
The TalonP is being shot using heavy slugs and only has 12" barrel, the Huben pistol has even less length and still making insane power. The HPS mini's should have no problem making slug shooters happy.

You did go through a heck of a lot of PCPs in a short timeā¦ At the least you now know what you want in actual, practicall use from experience. I am down to technically three, Ghost, Pathfinder and two Atomicsā¦
