As an owner of both, I think....that's crazy talkNo leaks, shoots fine. Wasn’t difficult to work on, BRK video helped a lot.
Brocock is really starting to grow on me, maybe I should trade in the S510 on something that howls.

Neither it or myself will ever make it at EBROk so it’s in good shape now hows it shoot?

Thanks, and yes I was hesitant in the beginning, but pretty much over it now. You're doing great, I seem to remember that you didn't think that you could or should, work on your own gun. Maybe that was somebody else, I lose track? Nice work! Keep your AA, never get rid of a good thing to chase after something else, just get the something else first and see how it goes.

Oh hey now, I'd sell my Ghost twice before the S510, cost me double and never shoots the same twice. It's a complete mystery where it will shoot everytime I pull it out. It is, however, far more interesting than the others. Bagged 3 birds and a squirrel with the S510 today....one bird was with a 21gr slug...just bc it can. Mine does seem to be more accurate than yours though, and ive had zero leaks on 2 years of ownershipThanks, and yes I was hesitant in the beginning, but pretty much over it now.
I don’t know about not letting go of the S510. I think it’s trying to tell me something lol.

I swear that I didn’t do it on purpose, but I think it made a Ghost face at me.
You shouldn’t bad mouth the ghost if you are unwilling to tune it properlyOh hey now, I'd sell my Ghost twice before the S510, cost me double and never shoots the same twice. It's an out of the box thing, both AA guns are lazers and flawless, i just unboxed and shoot them. My Ghost is too hot I admit for lighter Ammo and therfore I'm cursed with Mrds only. Those shooting the .22 Plus can and do shoot lighter ammo with great success. The barrel was ridiculous till I polished it, it had poi changes that were mostly unexplainable, it's hold sensitive (I'm convinced) trigger is creepy (again both AA guns are far better in that regard). Reg gauge does what it wants sometimes. I love the Ghost, but it's not consistent, eventually it will be though, mark my words! My busy season is coming to an endYou shouldn’t bad mouth the ghost if you are unwilling to tune it properly

I’m having more fun today with the Sniper lol.

The story behind this fiasco I was tuning it and I guess I must’ve bumped the cocking arm, and I had a big puff of air to face and it bounced back in and pushed another pellet in and I didn’t test fire it before I loaded another pellet also blew the O-ring out too and created a mess the magazine was jammed in there.
The good news is it’s all back together and I’m shooting. It took me about two hours.
The hard lessons, those are the ones that teach you something.![]()
@FL22 That sounds very frustrating. Good to see someone with the fortitude and focus to work through that, repair, it and get back to shooting. I have a soft spot for these Brocock Sniper guns. I really enjoy mine.
Do MRDs fit loosely in your mags?
@FL22 I’d not seen pellet come out of the mag so easily with the older mag. Mine is a .25 and a bolt action, but I have had an issue with not pushing the bolt forward all the way and almost double loading. By the time I realized it was not snapped shut I tried to look in the breech to see a skirt. When I did that the mag advanced again. I actually may have double loaded and shot them out. It’s been a couple of years, but I recall a strange hiccup like that occurring. I’ve also shot it without the bolt completely snapped shut and shot out the breech o-ring. They’re fairly easy to work on when you have tutorials and diagrams. Thankfully you didn’t have to try it without them.@Ezana4CE so far I found the Sniper to be the easiest one to work on that I have owned.
MRDs tins with the white/gray foam were tight I did notice some variance in the skirts with the black foam mostly loose fitting.
The Sniper has definitely been great. The S510 was a challenge but I’m glad I decided to work on it.The best guns are the easiest to work on. That is why I shake my head so much at all the owners of really beautiful guns that don't want to work on them. Once you get into them they are even more fun on a different level. I'm glad to see your projects going so well.
