What'cha doing air gun related today?

Started range cleanup, and moving my rubber mulch to a new box yesterday. Finished the box move today, with a different box. Found a nice collection as I poured from one trap to the next. Then a little LAF shooting with my Red Ryders, better late than never. Hopefully some Springer Saturday later today, we shall see.

Springer Saturday found another can cutting challenge attempt. I failed the challenge (50 shots or less), but I defeated the can with my M1A Underlever. 75 shots, 7 yards, off-hand, during 38 minutes of agonizing glory. Seeing with the factory sights is a challenge of its own for this Papa during the session.

Did some sound testing, pcp version, today. Shot 3622, Pinty, Avenger, and Texan without, and then with, moderators. Microphone down by the target, and decibel meter on the bench with me. I quit using the decibel meter before the Texan, because results were wildly inaccurate. Secondary goal was testing my new pellet trap, to ensure it had the oomph for up to the Texan.

If anyone knows how to get realistic results from cheap decibel meter, I'd appreciate the assist. 😂

I replaced this gnarly o ring and shot my pp750 a little. I ordered an o ring kit from amazon because I didn’t have one the right size in my big ol stash of o rings.
It’s always a good feeling getting a leaking gun to hold air again.

Got the 2 PCPs standardized for filling! I do not hate the AirArms T-bar, but it's a one-off, seems like it could pop off, and not as quick as a quick- connect lol. Shot it off Reg and then degassed it by cracking the fill port. Hung er upside down to see if any water would come out but, nothing came out. Sadly I could not inspect the inside of the tank really.
Is it normal for the air tank to condensate like that when a Pcp is degassed?

Could you please send me a link or place I can buy the 3622 moderator, and adapter, PapaT?

Today airgun related, I upset my wife. Her alarm was still on even though we have the day off. That woke me up. I got up, did a few chores and decided to shoot a few pellets with my 177 Bullshark. I thought she was up and just laying in bed still. She comes out angry “you know I can hear that in the bedroom?!”

It’s backyard friendly, not wife friendly. I fell into a perfect test for “how quiet is my rifle”

I guess I’ll put my DFL Sumo on it instead of the Tatsu next time. 🤣
I've got a Man Cave range w/ 3 targets . One is a silent trap , the others , a swinger & a metal PB rated trap. I have "permission" to engage 2 of the 3 after 8:30am. I use moderators on all except the Evanix AirSpeed (no sound reduction). The Katran , Stoeger Ranger andKral NP03 are not backyard friendly w/o a moderator ,so It goes the same
for the 'Cave. What our Ladies have to put up with!

Started morning with another coat of board wax, then polished it in and put away the M1A. After lunch I got out the P17, dsx-45, and Crosman M1 Full Auto for some trigger time. Tried to practice 2 eyes open, which was fine with the laser on the DSX-45. This was also my first shots with my M1, which I got back in November. Nothing serious today, just plinking around.

Birthday present from my wife! Crosman M1 Full Auto CO2 BB Carbine. I hesitated getting this super fun airgun at first, but glowing reviews and the low price at Wally World made me reconsider. Man, I'm glad I did! It's surprisingly accurate for a BB gun, even in full auto. The plastic stock material looks amazingly like wood. Nice tight build quality. Great companion to my powder burning M1 Carbine. Eats C02 and BBs because of the rock n roll selector switch, but isn't that the whole point to full auto shooting fun? Pew-Pew!

It really is a blast. I only have an underlever version for it to hang out with. PB versions are a bit out of budget. Although the SA co2 is tempting, that way at least one has a magazine.
