My package from the UK arrived and I got it all set up and ready for some initial testing at my range

The VoluMax extended plenum will arrive a little later, so for now it is a .177 HP with the 28" slug barrel

I was hoping to see some shooting results, but , all I can say is the real world pictures of that rifle are very attractive, purpose built for sure.

At least you can get some numbers on it with and without the plenum

only asking because you have the plenum coming just wunder what the benefit is? I think .17 cal and it's hard for me to see the need? but then again I dont shoot .17 nor have I dove deep into slugs.

Here in Denmark we are NOT restricted in power and so far I have had it put out between 30 and 42 FPE

Not to derail your thread, but can I ask your fascination with .177 slugs?

Its a genuine curiosity as .177 pellets , I do not find to be fun, but that is merely my personal preference. I haven't looked into .177 slugs at all. Is there a reason you prefer them over .22 slugs?

I am not allowed to shoot anything but .177 here in Denmark !

Soren have you tried 950 or so to see if there is any difference? Ive been checking bc and out of my ghost with the 28” barrel the bc shows above whats listed on the tin. Good shooting by the way!

Tried them from 820 FPS and up and around the 1000 FPS is where they perform very well in my BRK Ghost also

Would love to know your settings now (to get those slugs to 1000fps) vs with the plenum when you have it worked out....I find that stuff super exciting! Thanks for taking us along Soren! Seems to be grouping well right along with your other Daystate/Ghost pcps

At the moment the regulator is at 145 bar and I am shooting the JSB KO 13.43 gr at 1003 FPS on power level 11

Very similar to the ghost. I suspect that the receiver is made very similar to the ghost also. Soren are the barrels interchangeable ghost and blackwolf?

Nope ! The transfer port and mounting is different in the Blackwolf - Also the barrel is tensioned

The shroud is also longer on the Blackwolf
