Looks very interesting, but my question is where are they getting the fill hose and fittings from that are rated for 7000psi?

I am trying to find them just for the safety margin when dealing with 4500psi. I can't find 7000psi rated fill accessories anywhere.

5500psi Scott tanks have been out for a while, and tanks aside, people could just direct fill the guns designed to take 7000psi. I just know, from looking for fittings for that EZpeazy thing, and buying a new fill hose recently, that there isn't any fittings or hoses that are rated for over 310bar. At least not at any airgun dealers, yet.

Hey @Pumacarl, when my Hill hand pump blew a crimp on the lame a$$ fill whip that it came with after using it for a few months, I went to a parker Hydraulic service center and got a new hose made. It is rated for 6k psi and was pricey (Parker Parflex hose) but it's been flawless. The highest pressure I've seen to date is the Huben pistols which fill to 5k if I recall? Parker has a hose that can handle 10,000psi. Trust me that will work for ya! Can get the hose made to the length you want and whatever ends you want cramped on to boot! I preach it😉 Oh....and it's American made.

Thanks! Yeah, that is along the line I was thinking that nobody is talking about yet, do you know where your local hydraulic shop is? Having worked on a tractor, I do, but the stuff at this level is not so much fun to fiddle with, and really expensive. Good thing the compressor isn't that expensive.

I work in heavy equipment industry here in Ontario. The place is go to is called Fluidline and these lines often run high pressure grease, air, or oil so compressed air is fine. They scratched their heads when I told them what it was for but the high pressure is no problem. (Alot of the Tier 4 diesels I work on run fuel pressures @ the rail near/above 20k!! I do find the Pcp fitting stuff being "specialized" is quite expensive. 7k is beyond scary to me for a hobby lol...I won't be going near that pressures! Ever. I don't believe tanks will ever be rated that high anyways? It would be mainly: compressor, line, and gun. Imagine paying for a D.O.T. tank that can handle 7k+ psi? Yikes 😳

Quite a few around here have said they rent 6K Nitrogen tanks. It makes a lot of sense if the price is right and you can do easy, at your place, tank swaps. I would actually like to do that if I ever am in the right situation to do so. Talk about zero problems, with fewest parts. Right up my alley.

What did you tell them you wanted? In other words-how do you order one?

You typically walk into these places with what you've got already, tell them what you're trying to do, and they will fix you up. Never been to such a shop that they were not knowledgeable and helpful. Being in DFW, there is certainly quite a few near you.

Those extreme high pressures seem to be death waiting to happen. Our sport, hobby, is becoming more and more dangerous!

It's only more dangerous to you if you go down that path. You don't have to. Nobody else has to either. I'm not, but to each their own.
The potential problems lie here: 4500psi has been the standard for quite some time now. The Hill Evo for example (compressor I hope to buy in a few months🤩) was (somewhat recently) upgraded so it could make 4500 psi. That's all I'll ever need. Problem with a 7k is people not in the know may run that on lesser quality fittings, hoses, etc. Problem #2: Pressure-stop quits working and the compressor keeps chugging along till it blows the tank or whatever else. My biggest problem with it? Bigger chance for leaks and stress on the internals with higher pressures
Also** when i see gun specs it means nothing without fill pressure and tank size.
Many pcps make impressive power & good shot count on 3600psi. That was increased on some to run 4500psi. In my mind it's like making a higher power model of car X but it needs premium gas to run it. Lol I'm no longer interested. 7k psi? That's Jet fuel! 😅
