Ha! Up to 2! I actually like to limit mine to 2-3 for different duties, because I still try to shoot some 22LR like I do air rifles (which I also stupidly sold off and have badly been missing as well).Wow @Smok3y and @PasadenaMike have been through the airgun wringer, thanks for sharing your experiences btw! It is definitely amazing the hype some of these do-it -all, 'lazer' pcps bring to the table. Simple is king 100%. Electronics? Gross. Sorry Scout your guns are sweet but I don't need a gun that talks back to me. 2 regs? Lol don't get me started. I'm "up to" 2 pcps is the way I look at it.
Yeah I guess by wringer I meant you've spent some time/coin on quality aurguns that didn't deliver, or were duds. I also shoot a bit of small bore firearms (HMR .17 and .22LR) at my parents place and like to pit em against My .22 Ghost.Ha! Up to 2! At first, when I saw “airgun wringer”, I thought “Not at all!” But maybe a little… I think my biggest issues have sort of been 2 main categories…
1) Trying new stuff out (a lot of bullpups) when I know they aren’t my favorite…
2) Buying used and having a string of bad luck…
The best couple rifles I have ever owned were purchased from SPAW and setup exactly like I wanted. I think my next rifle or two might be from reputable sellers that I know will set them up properly as well.
Good for you Mike… Seems you’ve come full circle back to simple and practical…This is how I feel now
Don’t know what it can do but I’m comfortable shooting max 35 yardsHow far can you whack a ground squirrel with that Talon P?
At least pick up one of the Adult Red Riders or Umarex Marlins; fun, stress-reducing can killers!Ha! Up to 2! I actually like to limit mine to 2-3 for different duties, because I still try to shoot some 22LR like I do air rifles (which I also stupidly sold off and have badly been missing as well).

P17, that’s my fun gun I don’t expect anything fromAt least pick up one of the Adult Red Riders or Umarex Marlins; fun, stress-reducing can killers!
50+ yards would not be a problem with a good rest. My Escape SS .25 has the same tank, valve and barrel, it just has a built-in moderator, shoots half inch groups at 50 yards with the Zulus 5x-20x with range finder and BDC on it. I have no doubt that the Tallon P would as well with the same scope on it. I have been trying to talk Mike into getting one to improve his Zen. It is one of the few things I have related to the airguns that I feel was truly worth the money. How far can you whack a ground squirrel with that Talon P?
Go to the NOTOS. Cheap and fun-I have an older MROD (I think he is out of business) and it too was unregulated in .177. Very inexpensive but it didn't matter to the sparrows and starlings. At least pick up one of the Adult Red Riders or Umarex Marlins; fun, stress-reducing can killers!
My PP700SA was, and remains my most prolific rat killer… I sold it long ago, but the props to it remain… The premise was or use to be that most came to airguns for their …? Low power goodness and simplicity…Makes me think back to when my PP700SA was my only PCP, and not even think about anything when a rodent showed up. Not unregulated, but it wasn’t complicated.
Attaboy! As mentioned I was surprised you unloaded the Atomic! Fits the role well and being less power a follow up shot or 9 is at the readyHad to re add a Talon SS .22 to the collection. Now we have the trusty trio. Needed something with less power too just in case.
