Cleaned all the yuck and changed the filters on my GX pump… at least when I took the foster fitting off that end looked perfect so they’re doing their job and I will be changing them more regularly .

All three of these filters are on the output side. The air intake filter looked fine.

Its good to see the output filters really work as they should. While my pump is still new, only used it for 6 rifle refills, I just received a new hose and long hi pressure filter housing, with a boatload of filters(both sizes) and a bunch of o rings. I gotta get that attached before I do any more refilling.

Some how I found a few bucks in the wallet…couldn’t help myself…went to the local Fin Feather Fur and procured a tin of new pellets. Vortex .22 17gr. I just had to get them to try…must be part of the affliction. I hope it was worth it. I feel like a CPHP traitor ….

Let me know how you like those Vortex pellets. I almost ordered some yesterday, but instead , I bought more CPHP's. I seem to raid Wal-Mart's pellet cabinet more and more, while they still cheap.

No, it’s just the sludge from the two hoses and three filters on the pressure side.

I had added an extra length of hose and the optional in-line filter when I started using it.

The instruction manual says to remove the filter that’s in that three-way block if you use the extra inline filter, I didn’t want to do that because I did not want all of that crud going in the pressure gauge.

Really what I need to do is rework the whole thing so that immediately out of the pump there is a large primary filter then subsequent smaller ones.

Use one of the disc shaped filters for where the gauge is and so on.

Yes, that one was fine.
Supposedly the filters are washable too. I think for the price I’m not going bother with that.

My sister made up some cake mix cookies with chocolate chips and handed me some munch on during coffee sipping shooting .. ( these are made from white cake mix , Dunkin hinds?)


Definitely got plenty of chocolate chip in them ..lol. ... Yum!!

It’s more of an old house problem than a pump issue. Running the pump causes a strobe effect on the some of the light fixtures.

That’s where I wanted to install it originally, but there’s insufficient clearance for it to fit there. I still have to have the hose.

If I remember right because of the threads or fittings something would not match up so I ended up having to do it the way I did for now.

I’m definitely going to rework it sooner rather than later, and get a larger filter.

I understand that. I was tripping breakers here like running the dryer with other things on and. It came down to old breakers . Replaced with same new and no more tripping ( from breakers )

They can get old and weak and start to trip easier. The new ones you can tell how weak the old ones were just by flicking the switch with your thumb.. I guess if if your hitting 15- 20 years on them it's about life expectecy

I'd of figured there equal threaded sized so things you buy would just match up and thread on ..

Like everything you can get easy is m2 thread but the manufacturer purposely used m2.5mm. Lol

This week I was able to set up scopes on my Huntsman and S200 (Discovery compact 6x) so we can eliminate some invasive around my work building. Last week I put my Pard DS35 on my Atomic so I can kill rats at night. When the weather gets cooler they search for warmer areas to make their nests. But it shouldn't be too bad, because my neighbor moved with his hunting dog kennel. I just have to make sure the critters he left behind don't try and make a new home in my shed or attic.

Welcome back sir! Figured it was hurricane related....had similar issue when my neighbor moved. She took in stray cats left by people and had about 12 to 15 total I'd guess. She promised they were all gonna go with her but when the day came she left every single one for us to deal with.
