Let me know how you like those Vortex pellets. I almost ordered some yesterday, but instead , I bought more CPHP's. I seem to raid Wal-Mart's pellet cabinet more and more, while they still cheap.

Finally got out to try the Vortex .22 17gr. I am impressed. They were clean and in great shape. It was 32deg with real light snow and a bit of a breeze. I was shooting from my shed at a ,”Dirty Bird “ target 32 yds away. 7 out of 10 were in the red 1.5 bull. I shot my .22 Nitro Venom. Crosman. Fingers were kind of numb loading pellets. So far so good.

That's great. I will def.have to try a tin of those. I've got a Gamo Classic Arrow that only likes the heavies. My regular arrow .22 likes the 14.3s.

Oh well…. My daughter had a ball with her little Daisy 25 too. Something about not worrying about paper groups and just watching a can explode. I kinda dig this Black Bunker. The more I shoot it, the more I like it. I’d like to get a lightweight direct thread moderator for it. I don’t know what though.

Clever and 100% necessary when you start buying different guns! Going form my 'normal' shaped AA guns on a rest to a bullpup on a bipod on the same table was impossible to get comfortable. I went with my sawhorse table base...it's got all the adjustment I'll ever need Was -5 deg today....no way I'm single loading .177 pellets in that, asking the inlaws next week if I can target shoot in the greenhouse.

I went with my sawhorse table base...it's got all the adjustment I'll ever need Was -5 deg today....no way I'm single loading .177 pellets in that, asking the inlaws next week if I can target shoot in the greenhouse.

Oh good lord. -5! Nope. Stayed inside all day, almost 40 today, but a nasty cold breeze outta the north. I did get a box of .22 pellets though(4 tins), in the mail from my baby sister as a Christmas gift though, so I guess that's something.

When I growing up my Grandfather told me that I could engineer a paper sack parachute.

He used slightly different wording, but you get the drift .

I really like your shooting table. The -5 temps sounds unbearable, do you have to work outdoors in it? Or do you bring everything in the shop?

I shot a mag with my Huntsman, then loaded all 4 mags for it and my S200 mags.

I'm in and out all day as an equipment mechanic. Got my own auto shop at home that doubles as my Airgun tinkering shop with a machinist for a dad. I have no complaints Oh wait....yeah it's still cold outside Last weekend I put the Midas Tac on the S510 it was a blast until my fingers and the gun had enough.

I have to shoot it more for sure (-15 this morning) but it's great so far, killer glass and reticle. Coulda spent $30 more for the 24x but the S510 isn't going past 100Y ever so no need. Vs the Helix it came with no goodies whereas the Helix came with literally everything (cloth, sunshade, caps, small throw lever) but the Tac has better glass 100%

Very true that buddy, but least zip ties aren't as likely to stretch and droop, causing an unexpected hole to magically appear it the top of the chrony.

yea the big complaint I have with the Midas line is they don't have any lens cap shades or parallax wheel maybe even a throw for the range would be nice I have spoke to them about it.
the more they are made awhere of the desire the more appt to add the in.
they told me that is the same glass in some of the better scopes so they have to do what they can to keep cost down. I tole them maybe offer it as a option?
for my EVIL EVOL MINI and even the 15" these are great size size but I want some more for bench or my .30 cal EVOL the larger magnification I don't think will parallax down as Cole as these do though with sucks but I think that's the norm in the later scopes.

I guess I must use good newer fresh rubber bands that hold up good and tight.. anyway I rest in the yoke part flat on bench table or whatever works best for what gun or doing at that time ..lol
