Which of your airguns is "You"...?

Which one is 'me'...hmmm. I'm going with my .177 TX, the platform is about as old as I am (37yrs) good looking and refined, 13fpe underdog, not for pesting really but I do, not an overly fussy eater, tame and smooth but.... it'll bite your finger off if u don't mind the beartrap!! OK none of these things are me except the underdog/not a fussy eater part😅
I went back and forth over this gun and when I found out the LH version was walnut only and $100 more I was ticked and said NOPE, not happening! Well. A few months later I got an in-stock email from AGS, it was in my cart that night🤣😍 No regrets.

Pretty simple - it occurred to me that the airgun which I most identify with is my .22 caliber R9 "standard" meaning with sights.
The rifle Is topped with a Sightron 4-12/MOA 20 reticle, and unless it breaks it isn't coming off. I have many rifles which mean a lot to me, but that combo IS "Me".

Just wondering who has an airgun that they feel is truly "them", and if so - did you grow up with it or find it later in life?

I found mine just this year BTW...
Is your R9 hold sensitive?

You've heard me say it before, and I'll say it again now: I'm a springer guy! I'm a traditional spring piston, wooden stock airgun shooter. My favorite? It comes down to my TX200 & my HW97K. I have pumpers and CO2 shooter as well. Please note that no PCP rifles are listed. I have nothing against them, they simply don't excite me. Oh, cold, hard plastic vs wood . . . no comparison. Orv.
I have read the TX200 isn’t hold sensitive. Is the HW97?

That is a good question, but I have not been shooting air guns long enough to know.
My ugliest gun is my Benj Armada .177 that I bought used w/ after market finish and huma regulator. I call her Big Ugly as she weights in at 11 lbs. She is very accurate.
My prettiest is my Weilrauch HW100 .22 with laminated stock and fits me like a glove. Her name is Helga.
My most accurate gun is a Benj Marauder .25 that I'm selling because I I have to fit myself to the gun rather than the other way around. It is being replaced by a Daystate Revere .25. All targets are 50 yds. I hope the Daystate shoot fits better and is as accurate.

The TX is a bit hold sensitive yes. Can't speak for the others, it has only ever been accurate for me so I must be doing something right?😅 Scope broke loose and slid back once....she still put out 3/4 inch groups @30Y, Never woulda known If I hadnt noticed. Only real issue is first shot or 3 is low by an inch or two ALL THE TIME. Hoping to strip it this winter and we'll see what I find (excess grease on spring or too tight piston seal?)
