lol no they recommend filling to 12000 psi and then using an acetylene torch to cut it off while staring directly at it. THIS IS A JOKE DONT REALLY DO THIS.So hacksawing something off per there direction is not a good move ? .. hmmm..

Definitely sounds like a tool arsenal a "Hateful McNasty" would have...just sayin. lolYa, well it's funny my 3 most used favorite tools in my shop are big hammer , hacksaw and torch.. between them I can either get it off or put it on .
Can you put a little loctite 542 on the threads to help ? ( I think rated for 10000psi duty)So whenever I had a new L2 they always leaked from the drain screws. First place to check. If it’s a new one then there’s one on the butt plate and one on the valve. Little soapy water with a brush should show it. Don’t crank on it if it’s leaking. Loosen and tighten slightly more then it was and keep checking. There’s a delrin seal in there if you over tighten will get ruined. Go little steps at a time.

No you want to be able to take it off. I suppose medium will be ok but it’s not necessaryCan you put a little loctite 542 on the threads to help ? ( I think rated for 10000psi duty)
Oh it's thread sealer not thread locker .. sorry not being clear on thatNo you want to be able to take it off. I suppose medium will be ok but it’s not necessary
Yeah it can probably work I just wouldn’t do itOh it's thread sealer not thread locker .. sorry not being clear on that
Going to give it a go today, and tighten up all the drain screws to see if that does the trick. Will re-fill and watch for the drop, over the next day or two.So whenever I had a new L2 they always leaked from the drain screws. First place to check.
