I purchased a used Edgun Leshiy 2 short a few days ago. I finally got to air it up and I noticed immediately it’s got a leak. I was able to use the soapy water trick and found the leak is where the auxiliary reservoir connects to the butt. I’ve ordered an o-ring kit and while I’m waiting, I’m trying to find videos on how to replace these O-rings. Not having much luck, I found disassembly but nothing on the O-rings. Any thoughts and ideas or links would help. Also, any help on a diagram that would show which O-ring goes to which location would help. Thank you very much.

Pics would help a lot.

Hope this helps. Obviously make sure it’s 100% degassed. Use a fill probe to make sure the fill port doesn’t spin see video

All tight and not leaking now. Thanks
how did you fix your leak, which o-ring was replaced, etc? I just got a leshiy 2 and aired it up, with same issue. A small leak that depletes the air over a period of days. I saw the o-ring chart someone posted and the "explosion" view of the parts, but it would help to know what o-ring you replaced to fix the leak, as it may be the same issue with mine. Any details would be appreciated, thanks!

Where is it leaking from ? You can put the butt end vertically in water and see bubbles. Just make sure you dry it. Don’t dunk the whole thing just put the butt plate portion in a few inches of water and you’ll see where the leak is. Most likely it’s the fill valve but find the leak first. NEVER SUBMERGE THE FIRING VALVE PORTION

Thanks for reply PasadenaMike - I've browsed many of your posts on here before and noticed you have quite a few leshiy's from what you have mentioned. Btw, I'm in the Ventura County area of CA. How would I submerge the butt end portion in water, if I have a digital gauge?? The nice thing about the Leshiy is it appears to be quite simple in its design, and only one area of the gun really where all the leaking would most likely be coming from - I just am still trying to familiarize myself with the internals (viewing the parts "explosion" graphics), to get a better grasp of where the issues will likely be (now, or later).

Best thing is watch Edgun wests collection of videos he has a ton of them showing disassembling and assembling. My words can’t help as much as the videos. If you have the new digital gauge it’s fine to submerge.

I have watched many of Brian's videos, and will continue to do so...now that I have this leak (on a brand new gun), to see if I find more specific info on troubleshooting an issue like this.

Admittedly, while it's a bit disconcerting to have this problem on a brand new gun, it does not seem to be as frustrating/overwhelming an issue to deal with (for now!), than it would be with some other brand of rigs that do appear far more complicated (internally) to troubleshoot and work on. Staying positive for now.

Mine was leaking air from where the Butt reservoir connected to the Butt Pad. O ring number 30 on the above diagram. An 18x2

It’s new? And it’s leaking? Hold it right there and don’t void the warranty because it will happen . Take the gun to Bryan right away. Trust me they use any excuse to void warranty’s. You want to learn the gun? There will be plenty of time post warranty. A $2500 gun should never leak. Unbelievable the lack of QC. Sorry to be blunt but trust me

Agree. I'm not going to try anything until I first speak with EdGunWest to have them assist in getting this resolved. I just got off the phone with them, and they do claim to do a 15-24hr leak test on all their Leshiy's before shipping them out to customers. Going to try a few troubleshooting things first that they suggest (tightening down the bleed screws) and re-filling to 300bar to then monitor if still leaking, before taking next steps with them to resolve the issue further if necessary. Appreciate all your responses & guidance, and will update further once I have more info.
