EVOL EVOL MINI what scopes?

On preorder for a mini. Going to use either an MRAD STAC 4-20x50 or 3-16x42. I own both of those scopes, but also considering a Nexus G2 4-25x50. Pesting. Thoughts?

If not doing much work with a scope high power ranges while pesting, is it worth the extra weight and length on there full time? Here's an image of an 8/1/2" scope versus a 14" scope on an Evol to ponder. On the Mini, I'd want as small as possible to keep it light as possible.

It depends on the gun, but yes I agree less is more. I spent some bucks on a nice lpvo for my leshiy 2, temporarily switched to a red dot now I don’t want to put the lpvo back on.

True, but the 4-20 weighs 25.6 oz, vs 24.8 oz for the smaller 3-16 Stac. Decisions decision…

if I find a small scope like I go with something a bit smaller but really this is not any issue at all and I do like em light. I still have another scope in mind but that will maybe be next year

March 3-24x42 is under 22oz and a really nice package overall. I moved mine to my L2 temporarily when I got the highmaster, but I think it wants to stay.

Discovery 2-12x24 HD is a great fit on these guns. Just ordered another one for a different PCP.

I can compare to a Helos BTR Gen2 4-20x50. I'll look when I get home. It's definitely not Athlon quality but for $165 it's well worth the price.

Hey @pan60 (or anyone who has one!) how is the midas Tac clarity at full power on the 4x16? My S510 out shoots the 3x9 on it currently but I don't really want a honking 6x24x50 scope either on it...16X would be absolutely perfect! Really want this scope but it has to be decent on full power...thoughts?

I really like the Primary Arms SLX 3X MicroPrism Green Illuminated ACSS Raptor 5.56/.308 it's super light weight and perfect for closer range shooting inside of 60 yards or so.

It seems that the Primary Arms SLx has a decent reticle that may work well for holding over at various ranges out to 80-85 yards, depending on how fast your running the pellets out of the Mini. This Chairgun app holdover chart is for 820 fps.

I just noticed, these are both rare lefty model's. After some research into the Primary Arms SLX 3X, (based on your setup, and thank you), I found one on Amazon with the ACSS Raptor/Griffin X MILL reticle. It has a ten Mils of holdover and christmas tree reticle.

I haven't seen that reticle option before it looks Awesome.
