For weeks and weeks I have been fighting a silent battle in my head (couple of you know because we keep in touch) about offloading some guns again and making a transition heavier towards BRK, Daystate….I willingly took a loss on 3 very expensive semi auto guns as a trade in to buy a 👻 and a Pathfinder today because of my very pleasant experiences with the dealer time and time again. Everyone at the dealer is top notch. I willingly took the loss to avoid dealing with folks that don’t understand the beast and would blame me for something they did incorrectly which may cause a malfunction. Trading it in at least it’s peace of mind at a loss but that’s ok. Please stay neutral and please don’t name brands and dealers. This is just my personal experience. When you buy a BMW or a Mercedes you expect awesome service right ? Guess it depends on the day of the week. My BRK dealer is awesome no questions asked guess we’re going to be driving a Bentley (British gun) a lot more. If you are thinking about buying anything message me I have owned a ton of guns. I will give you my personal experiences with the whole package. At the end of the day you might as well buy a Yugo If the Range Rover isn’t going to come with great service and 100% be ready to use without oil leaks

I can attest to this (and thank you)!

Just be warned. While Mike may not be charging you directly for his feedback, it WILL come at a cost. I might have spent a pretty penny that I wasn’t quite expecting to spend just yet because of this enabler… 😳😆
Yes, but buy quality? And you are set. All you have to do now? Is live up to that “quality”…🙏 What a sweet chase when you know what potential for you exists?

Went to actually start packing my guns to to ship them for a trade in it’s almost next to impossible with time constraints. Oh well guess it’s not happening yet with 12-13 hour work days and busy home life. Reality sucks oh well. When do I do it at 4am wake up time or at night when the kids are crazy?

Well it was the plan until I got home tonight and reality set in I don’t have a second to myself to pack up the trade ins. I don’t know if it’s going to happen anytime soon unfortunately 🤷‍♂️ I was all
Excited. The only way I was going to be able to get a 👻 and a pathfinder was to send in 3 Edguns but don’t think it’s possible right now.

I look at my 'airgun journey' (vs yours) sometimes.... I researched HEAVILY the guns and then made the purchase. You have been through way more brands, used them, seen the good, the bad, the overpriced, the leakers, the duds, the shooters etc. My first Airgun videos, getting back into it a year and a half ago was Matt Duber with his hunting channel and Airgun reviews. He started with Air Arms guns and I was smitten with them. He then left them bc they refused to advance with slugs and more powerful guns being "stuck in their old ways" I then widened my research and realized they were what I wanted, exactly bc they hadn't changed much! Two AA guns and the Ghost later and I could not imagine selling any of the 3, ever. I look at others true but I know they don't offer more (maybe in one way or another but not the whole package). Anyways all the best with this! If you get a Ghost what caliber/power level you looking to get?

This is all a torturous wonderful journey but I wanted the little guy in .22 with the 300cc
Indeed it has! I have the .22 HP 👻 as you probably know and it's been a battle (not its fault or mine🤣) to keep it on point, just the nature of sending lead past 950FPS and trying to keep accuracy 100% Will be making some posts on the struggles. It vies heavily with the AA guns to be my favorite but....I don't pick favorites 🤭 Each has its place. With the time I have to shoot I realize how many guns I COULD have (ie how much time I can spend with each of them to maximize accuracy at distance) shooting once or twice a year per gun is not enough for me and would equal a sale for sure.

@PasadenaMike, slow your roll, simpky enjoy that sweet Atomic XR you have in hand It is a very close kin to the Pathfinder and Ghost. Both the Atomic and Pathfinder you’ve experienced already, leaving only the sweet Ghost Carbine… Take your time…
Have to agree with Luis. Apart from my S510 I haven't been 'fair' to my TX and Ghost...yet. Have owned TX since December and 👻 since March. I could look at other guns that call to me but not a chance until I have these 2 beauties fully figured out, doped to their (realistic) effective range, and I become one with them. Heck I'm still figuring TX cold shot issues and Ghosts accuracy was a struggle for a bit there. Most of the guns you have Mike are pretty sweet just need to take REAL time to get em to the point you can grab em and take that pesting shot knowing exactly where pellets are going. Still planning on doing some .177 HFT @PasadenaMike? Sounds like a real good time/learning how the new guns perform in the field on non-live targets.

Thanks for being understanding here I agree 100%. I did a HFT match last week with the revere it’s absolutely awesome

Homelife, work plus kids does make it tough. I remember those days...more and more fondly as time goes on. You will get it done in time.
