I am 69 and determined to keep on doing the things I enjoy. I have to get a shot in my eye every month so I had to learn to shoot left-handed but that's okey and a heart attack has kept me out of the woods for a while but I plan on getting out there this year. Hard to get a deer here without a tree stand and I am not about to lug one of those and a gun around now but it will be fun just to get out there. We are not supposed to leave stands in the public woods here.

In another month, I'll be 84. Still shooting 100 yd BR. Came in third last month with my new RAW .177 cal. I did that just to see if it shoots as well as the larger calibers.

I’ve noticed it’s mainly an old guy sport. The younger crowd is busy with powder burners they’re too cool to go puff.

Once I introduce my friends in their 30’s to air, they love it. I tell them there is room to shoot everything, and shoot as often as you can.

Man if I knew what a pcp was when I was 18 I would’ve never shot powder again except for wing shooting

MIKE: I've introduced my 12 year old grandson to air guns. He's proudly attached to the Seneca Dragonfly I gave him two years ago. And believe me, he can outshoot me on my TX200. I don't know whether to be ashamed or proud of this fact. OK, I'm quite proud. That boy can hit the 100 yard target on our range about 8 of 10 shots if the wind cooperates. So you see, the younger generation isn't completely lost. Orv.

Living the dream Doc! You can always drive to a new location for new scenery if you wish. You're the man Orv!

63 years old here with multiple back injuries had me retired back in 2012 and on disability. Most of my shooting is from a bench rest and at 30 yards and that's fine with me! If I want to hunt I just use my lightweight rifle with a front sling to keep it light and keep the walking to a minimum. I'm not dead yet, I still have a lot to do!

My friends, each of us has our own challenges to face, and what I've discovered is that it isn't the challenges that define the man, but how the man meets his own challenges. In 2006 I lost my left leg, above the knee. In 2022 I had a revision, cutting off another half an inch from that knee. Last fall I had my worn out right knee replaced. The point is, is that today I lead an active and fulfilled life because I know what the consequences are of not leading a fulfilled and joyful life are. Let's get out there and have some fun shooting! Orv.

I'm already 84! I've been re-looped into airguns for many years now. Fact is, I haven't shot any of my firearms for several years. I started young too, as I literally grew up in a sporting goods store. My life sort of went from airgun (≈9 years old), 22LR, 30-30, 357H&H, 600 Nitro Express, and finally back down to airguns. It's been a wonderful life, and it isn't over yet! I trust we'll all go down the same longevity path! Long-Live-Air!
