If I didn’t buy this unregulated CZ200, I probably would have bought an unregulated Huntsman. My 177 Revere Safari is great. And the simple CZ200.

I had an unregulated Huntsman and sold it because cocking the hammer was rather awkward and difficult. I've since bought an unregulated Revere with the side lever which makes the gun perfect. I get 70-80 shots per fill in .177 caliber and accuracy is consistent throughout the whole range of pressure. A beautiful classic rifle.

I really wish Daystate would make a bullpup huntsman. It would be a pesting dream. Not a powerhouse, just a reliable no nonsense platform.

Both of those have bottles not a cylinder.
My concept lite is a nice semi bullpup, but not a true bullpup.
I just think the product principles of the huntsman would make a great rifle. A quality build for around 1200-1400.

I still regret selling a cz 200 green about 5 years ago, guy pestering me for months, sell it, please. I'd spend months tuning the cz.
In fairness he gave me a fair price.

Guy comes to collect the cz, fires a few test shots, passed the cz to his wife, it's yours. She sat in my garden for hours. A pleasure to see.

Meantime I started practicing with the huntsman regal, husband wanted to buy it there and then. Not for sale.

Guy pestering me for months, he was persistent. The regal huntsman is still with me,
Still being used.

Truth be known, the cz 200 has it's limits, fortunately I had the opportunity to test them.

Fantastic hobby .

No full length barrel there. My Huntsman and Concept have the same barrel length, the Brocock semi bullpup only saves a little length. I like the advantages of a 17”+ barrel. More like my Snowpeak P35 size, only Daystate quality.

It's a variable from region to region. The state say it not allowed. Local laws permit pest control. Political minefield.

I have permission from my local sheriff and mayor, my property only, plus not one pellet must leave my land. Allowed to help others only if asked.

My fac air rifle ticket has a clause written on it. Civil use only. Basically only when allowed by the land owner.

Good neighbours plus decent local government help, especially when they have a problem. Flexibility that suits the community.

I'm living in a small farming town, pig breader next door to me. So for all I'm not a hunter, I own a Pard and a Arken zulus.

Go figure ., local tolerance and legislation.

I'm still living in the wild west, not some European city.

Pathfinder is such a good little gun. That platform is great in .177. I liked Stephen's article on it this month.

I understand the current line. I just want my wish out there for a true Hunter bullpup that will shoot stable pellets at the velocity the Huntsman puts out. I think there is a place in the lineup for one. A person who wants a Huntsman as a bullpup.
The Atomic and Ranger are great 15 fpe and under guns in 177, but a 17” barrel like on the Huntsman can get you that 18-20 FPE.
