Tried fx barrel tuner on my 30 cal and doesn't seem to help shooting 44.75 grain pellets . Turned fps up and tried shooting zan pellets and got good results. Can watch group circle tighten up while adjusting tuner at 75 yards. Gonna try 100 yards when weather improves.

I'm working on my design. I will update everyone when I get some pricing. Trying to figure out how they got anyway without a shim to keep the barrel in correct position.

It looks to me like it's just a 1 dimensional friction-fit? with the carbon fibre shroud or does it not make contact with shroud?....What do you think the two tapped holes in the "top" are for?
IF I understand this, this is just a moveable weight that you can clamp at to be experimentally "tuned" location on the barrel to change - optimize the harmonics. yes?
And you would have to "tune" your rifle by taking off the shroud, moving the weight, putting the shroud back for and then shooting your groups...then repeat with the weight in a different location...yes?

Shroud stays on. You take the OEM piece off by removing the 2 top screws….The new top piece replaces it and gets screwed in using the same holes and screws….then the lower piece gets clamped together by the other 4 screws….Super easy to put on. You need to keep the 4 screws loose so you can slide the barrel through, then tighten them up.

Oh I totally misunderstood…so replaces this? And is just allows for the barrel to be clamped vs held “in place” by o-rings?

Yes that part as standard part number 126 is removed and the new part replaces it

Mis read the BRK advert...thought you could "tune" ...so this just changes your "tune" by more tightly clamping the barrel at that location...this adds precision because it reduces? the magnitude of the vibration(s)? And can be used in combination with the new barrel tensioning system?

So ....this clamp-tensioner system is "non-repeatable" ...in that if I set up - tune say 177HP with H&N Baracuda Match....then the following week I want to shoot 22HP MRDs....you have to basically start from scratch...and "re-tune" ...you could use a torque wrench on the clamp screws and tighten to the same torque each time, but the tensioner...has no means/indication in which you could generate repeatable results without re-tuning, correct?

I believe the clamp will clamp all calibres in the same place due to the barrel diameter and profile of barrel . As far as I know there are no reference marks on the tuner and on the fady edition ghost they are set from factory

I would think its more of having the barrel hole drilled perfectly than having shims. I think all their barrels are 15 or 16 mm. Perhaps thats why pesty said it changes poi an inch or so cause its lifting slightly

So..further looking at the barrel tensioner...where is the tension created? What two points of the barrel are held so that they can be "pulled" and create tension? I see the "barrel clamp and screws" but how does the "muzzle cap tensioner" apply tension?
does this require removal of the air stripper? Is the muzzle cap replacing the air stripper-threading on in its place?
If so, then it appears you can apply the tension-tune the barrel, and this tension is all secured between the barrel clamp and screws and the muzzle cap...so you could remove the barrel and not effect its tension?

You can get to the top 4 screws no problem....Might have to move your scope if it is already mounted on.

Can anyone nswer the question: does the barrel with the tensioner system on it (not including the new rifle body barrel clamp ) comes off "in one piece" so that you don't lose the tension and thus could put a diff barrel in the gun? and then put back the tensioned barrel and have minimal change in POI?
