Come on man.... We all know they use high quality Chinese military grade aircraft aluminum.. but chineseum?.., really.I know right? The rifle after tightening all the loose bolts and screws feels nice and solid so that's a plus. Used blue Loctite as well to keep the cheap Chineseum screws in place also lol.
Lol, that's for sure!Come on man.... We all know they use high quality Chinese military grade aircraft aluminum.. but chineseum?.., really.

Leak test overnite last night on mine after tightening fittings. Got my barrel band installed and put on an Airgun Capitol moderator I had laying around. I did work over the trigger on mine and it came out great down to under a pound. Loaded up some JTS Dead Centers and using my 4 x 16 scope I ran the hammer spring in until I was at 860 fps. Targets are adhesive 4 inch from Amazon. I am very pleased with my results in my short but freezing shooting session. First pic is my sight in . Second one is my official 25 yard backyard range shooting one big half inch wide hole! Who would imagine this cheap rifle could shoot groups like this. My Barra 1100Z 22 won't do this. I'm happy for sure with my results on this freezing 32 degree day. Hope you get the same results!Wow first impressions out of box are :
1. Hefty
2. Good stock for the price
3. Short without a moderator
4. Not flimsy
5. Crown looks good
6. Took air
7. Loud
8. Heavy trigger but I’m not complaining
9. Good bolt feel -not gritty
Now she sits and gets a leak test
Hope you got a good one too. Mine was shooting at 650 when I chronied it. Had to turn the hammer spring in to get it set at around 860. I've ran about 150 rounds thru mine as the weather has been in the 50s. Got my Dar Gen 3 25 cal back from warranty repair at Aim Sports today. They just replaced the whole gun instead of fixing the breach leak on the other one. Only had a month left on the warranty so I'm glad they just replaced it. Supposed to rain 2.5 inches Friday so I'm stuck in the house with no shooting tomorrow. Time to clean the barrels on my other rifles I guess!I had a chance to shoot it finally today. I had a Buck Rail moderator on the gun and it’s still loud with 14.3 CPHP. I have to chronograph it and see what velocity she’s shooting at. Shooting open sights it kinda reminds me of an SKS or something

I know man, the one I returned was the most accurate rifle in my PCP collection. This replacement gun had the shroud not tightened up and the set screws were all loose so did a lot of maintenance just to get it to acceptable shooting condition. Ran about 20 patches thru it and it was nowhere near as dirty as the Icon. I'm nervous about shooting it and sighting it in case I got a bad barrel. That would be heartbreaking for sure. It came with 1500 psi in the rifle so it's been holding air since shipping on Monday. I've got it filled to 3000 psi now and will check tomorrow to see if it leaks any. Lets hope not!Sometimes they just replace the whole gun only thing with that is if the gun was a good shooter you’re SOL
I just ran 8 patches through the Icon and called it good. Good luck with the replacementI know man, the one I returned was the most accurate rifle in my PCP collection. Heck yeah I don’t know why they crank them up. It’s for the not educated who want to shoot fast. Everything I own is at or below 870I like my cp-hp.177 to be around the 850 mark .. seems a good stable fps on them in my junky'ol guns..![]()
Most times I don't get why there's not more adjustment range . Say 400-600 for indoor or 10m-20y or then crank it up to 900 for longer field shooting ..Heck yeah I don’t know why they crank them up. It’s for the not educated who want to shoot fast. Everything I own is at or below 870
