They print out on a 8.5X11 piece of paper and fit on my "L" targets.

Thanks! I had not seen this before. I'll definitely use this. I have not done any clicking for elevation adjustments.

Things have been busy and I've not checked in since earlier this month. I was thrilled to try my first FT competition back on June 8th and I'm lucky enough to have @isledweller give a great report on the match here. I was more than pleased with scoring a 21 on what was a pretty challenging day. I'll just add one very short video showing the conditions. You'll really (REALLY!) have to look close to see the target. It's to the left of the ones you can kind of see... Oddly, it almost looks like the target pops up when it hits it, but it was a clean hit! (Great shooting Thomas!)

I did pretty well on the first few lanes and then fell apart in the middle and then was able to knock down a few more toward the end.




And wow, it was a great experience seeing this talented group of shooters who where there that day!

Since this match, the weather has definitely turned a corner and we're now in the hot, hazy and humid days of summer here in Central New York. And my wildcat isn't shooting the same. I wanted to get a baseline on it again and did some shooting from the bench yesterday and it is nowhere near as accurate as it was earlier in the spring.

Here's what I shot last night @ 50 yards. Top row are the FX 10.3 which have been shooting great and the bottom row are my first groups with JSB Monster Redesigned pellets.




Not having cleaned the barrel since receiving the gun this winter, I figured it was time. Here is the next target after patchworming it with Ballistol. Definitely better, but the FX 10.3 grouping still could be tightened up a bit. I am not sure what to expect from the MRDs.



Having done little playing with velocities since getting the gun, let's see what an additional turn on the hammer spring might do to each pellet.

Baseline with FX 10.3 was about 910 fps (19 fpe).
Baseline with JSB MRD was about 791 fps (18.7 fpe).

With +1 turn on the hammer spring I got:

FX 10.3 = 945 fps (20.4 fpe)
JSB MRD = 839 fpe (21 fpe)

I only shot a few MRD here. They just don't feel like they were grouping (and I was running out of daylight). Surprisingly, the FX 10.3 pellets were beginning to group. Not sure if it was just the barrel seasoning again, but that was a decent group on the bottom left. And that was actually an 11-shot group vs. my normal 8-shot groups.

I am not sure of the why, but it sure seems like the heat and humidity (86f with dewpoint around 70) that we are experiencing now is causing my accuracy to fall apart at the relatively higher velocities I had been shooting at before.

Not wanting the gun to be over 20 fpe, I finished the evening with going the other way with the hammer spring. I took it back 1.5 turns from my normal. I only shot FX 10.3 pellets at that setting and that was the bottom right group of 8 shots @ 50. So with that group, I was happy to call it quits
