Maintenance Where to find Evol tools?

We're working at getting these restocked ASAP.
I just called shayne at AOA to ask about tools as well as replacement gauges, and the regulator update. They have nothing in stock for any of it. Do we have an eta on these parts availabilities? I feel you’ve put so Muxh time and effort into these new guns and barrels, that you’ve forgotten about us current owners!

Well maybe. All of our effort has been barrel development and production for HPS. We'll be making some announcements next week. Fingers crossed :)

Sounds to me that he is saying he's been thinkinking more about what he's doing now, than what he has already done, not that he doesn't give a crap about it. And he is thinking about what his customer base wants, in doing the SubMOA thing. His is a very small operation, can't move in any direction without letting go of something, or leaving it for a while. In this case that's us original product users. Of course , if he gets fed up and bored, he could just close up shop too. Where would that leave us? Tom will do what he wants, most of us know this, and we have other options. Things are only going to get busier for him I imagine. It's patience, or the road, at this point.

I hear that. I am thinking that I need a couple of new hobbies for a while. I have been paying too much attention to this one, and there has been more down time and waiting, than I like too. The problem, I find, with branching out is that you lose the nuances of each pursuit. Specializing is usually more rewarding.

I don't mean to come off as a wise-ass, though I know I will, but, I find that all of my airguns (cheapies too) are as reliable as I am good-at working on them. None of them are a problem to fix, if a problem arises, because I always have the spare parts that usually will fail. I like working on them anyway, and for the most part they all work great.

It’s not that I can’t work on certain brands. I just like simplicity. Something with minimal parts that does its job well. Evols check this box better than any other brand imo. But they are the way of taipan for getting parts. Almost not existent.

Lol yup good thing I got an Evol and Taipan. But are also guns that rarely ever would need a part. Honestly I've been thinking about a Skout compact as they are really good with CS and parts. But that adds alot more complexity

That’s a powerhouse of a gun. And a HUGE change from your current line up. If you pull the trigger, I’ll look forward to your review. You’ve always been a trusted source for info.

I have something else actually I decided to pull the trigger on. I'll be posting about once I recieve it. About to shake up the collection a bit lol something will be leaving.

You’re right. My patience is running out though. As is many others. I’ve been waiting a looooong time.
I do not disagree with your sentiment. But it’s not like Tom is sitting on his laurels. The man does work his a$$ off - maybe just not on the thing we need at the moment.

To be honest - the wrench and tolls should probably be outsourced anyway. They are not “precision” nor do they need to be.

To hold myself over I picked up a BRK Sonoran to try out the SubMOA barrel. Met up with Matt and put it through some paces this past Sat. It was 30 degrees with snow on the way. The AEA 45 gr were easily hitting close to an MOA at 100 ootb. Some other pellets just as good.

Lol no good guess. Don't think I can commit to an electronic gun even though I'm very interested in it. Nope went with something I know won't let me down. Not sure it looks better than the Epoch though lol
