Oh I used plenty don't worry! LolI was curious if it had a rod internally to adjust the reg from the front. Cool! Looking forward to you getting it together. Oh don't forget no silicone......too soon?I need to tear mine down and do the ultimox still myself...
Nothing out yet because I sweet talked Tom into tossing one in for meYou lucky dog! I have been looking every day for one of those plenum extenders and nobody is showing them yet. Please keep us in the loop for how how all this stuff works out.
From the playing around that I did on my .30 Paradigm regulator one full turn would equal 1500psi. Every hour position was 125psi. Or, if you are into measuring the regulator, if you remove it, every .001" = 50psi change. I don't know if the same holds for different calibers but this is how it worked out on mine. The machining on such small parts is amazing! Looks really cool and simple way to do it and like said with the end cap backwards compatible. I feel like not much adjustment is needed when I've tuned my evols. One full turn would be a huge pressure change so shouldn't need much really to make a good difference unless I'm mistaken.
That doesn't seem completely correct. It's a 32 tpi thread on the adjuster which equates to 0.0026" per hour which is about 50 psi. It's important to note that the spring stack is not linear in terms of force/deflection, it's more of a bell curve, so depending actual deflection the rate will vary. At some point I will post a a calibration in hours/psi. It can get you close; there are so many variables it is impossible to have a generic calibration that matches every regulator. From the playing around that I did on my .30 Paradigm regulator one full turn would equal 1500psi.
