Just wondering whats the best bang for the buck in bipods. Just can’t personally justify $300 for a bipod so i just ordered a utg recon 360 to try. Whats everyone else using?

I have the classic Harris style bipods, some with the adjustable cant, which are ok. Also have the Recon, an Airforce top mounted bipod on my Texan and I bought a knock off Atlas super wide bipod from Amazon that is waaaay better than I thought it would be when I ordered it. I use it on a Uragan King and it just suits that thing to a T.
If you want to save a few bucks try this out. Pretty solid stuff. Can’t beat the price.

I have an Accu-Tac with extended legs, entire setup is about $600. These are great bipods from the bench but can be terribly awkward and heavy as $/@& for the field. Very expensive for what they are, honestly I'm so tired of carrying it I might actually dump it and go with a cheap Harris bipod. Heck, no bipod is actually better than using one. Haha Anyone has a lightweight solution other than sticks I'm all ears.

I use my accutac for shooting rested. It’s not something I take in the field with me. Just too heavy. It is the most SOLID bipod I’ve ever used, but if you’re looking for something to walk and stalk with, I’d advise something different.

I’m picking up a magpul to walk and stalk with. It’s basically all polymer, and super light. The only gripe I’ve heard about them is, you have to preload them to make them stable. This is actually a feature built into them, but if you don’t know about it, I could see Guys saying it’s not stable, and cheaply made. It’s actually not. It’s just purpose built.

I get you I can’t walk like i used to when hunting so i carry a empty bucket with a seat and styx so i can sit as i go along. Makes good practice for ft!

Yeah, I’ve actually been using my primos sticks for walking and stalking. They’re very stable, and they double as a walking stick for rough terrain. Only downfall is if you want to sit prone, it won’t go low enough.

After a long search I recently decided to purchase a carbon fiber Bog Deathgrip Sherpa tripod. When shooting my Umarex Origin with its textured plastic forend I secure it firmly in the tripod's adjustable clamp. When shooting my RTI Prophet , which has a slippery carbon fiber air bottle for a forend, I remove the clamp from its arca fitting on the tripod and attach the rifle securely via a picatinny to arca adapter. I find this tripod to be very stable and adaptable with its 360 degree rotation and adjustable height.
