What'cha doing air gun related today?

Got up at 645 this morning, grabbed my Blue Streak and tin of pellets, and headed out to the yard range. After some zero verification shots, I shot my bell 13 times in honor of the original 13 colonies turned states for America's 250 before family and heat were up. #letfreedomring
I have the Sumo on my MS because I am getting most of my shooting down at 6am, before my kid wakes up.

Yesterday I had a little time between filleting trout, and watching motocross on tv so I grabbed the 250z. This rifle just amazes me with how well the regulator functions and how accurate it is with pellets!

Wind was very light but switching according to my wind vane/flags. The AEA 21.9gr at 950fps were grouping but the wind was pushing the POI around a little.

Here are a few 'cherry picked' 5-shot groups at 50yds. But, to be honest, the worst group fired wasn't much larger than these shown below.

Just finished firing my Daystar .22 this morning. Range was 38yds which is my second zero for my ground squirrel rifles. The Daystar is my most accurate air rifle.

It's not actually the same rifle as what I took out of the box when it was new. I had a Lyra rifle that was more accurate than the Daystar. Both rifles share the same barrel (and most other parts) so I swapped the barrels. I also preferred the biathlon style cocking lever on the Lyra rifle so I swapped it as well. So, the Daystar now runs the barrel and the cocking lever from the Lyra. Also, I am running it with a floated barrel instead of with the stock barrel band.

I modified the trigger to single-stage and it breaks with zero take-up at 8ozs.

Also, cut the hammer spring from the stock length to get the power range where I wanted it with the 18s. The rifle is non-regulated and gets 30-shots on the top of the bell-curve with normally 8-9fps ES.

Lightly modified Daystar is death to ground squirrels!

This rifle does not throw 'flyers'. Any variation in POI is from wind changes or my own shooting error.
