What'cha doing air gun related today?

I had a pest show up this morning at my bird feeder and my leshiy didn’t have an optic on it! I quickly soon after mounted a Veyron fixed 10x so it’s ready.
I removed the pard a couple days ago to put on my PP750 so my friend can borrow that for rat problems he has. I planned on getting my P35 25 cal back operational the same day, it has my pard ds35 on it. But I ran into issues with that and it’s still not ready to go.
So the P35 has bumped to the top of my fix it list. Or I need to put the DS35 on my leshiy.

Sounds like you need more Airguns lol.

I think if you have a long term pest problem then you need that one Airgun and scope that you setup and refrain from changing anything, the proverbial truck or back door gun.

For me it’s my Contour .22 and Hawk Vantage
3-9X40

I was ready for squirrel and under with my notos, but this was larger and needed a 25 cal. But I totally agree.

I actually got the Notos out today and ran a few mags of CPHP. I was using JSB 15's. But why pay more if the CPHP will get it done, and I have several thousand of them thanks to HAM points.

Getting ready for tomorrow, I’m going to have some fun with my new Umarex Avera pistol that I won from the HAM Pumpkin Carve.

After getting it sighted in, I did the 10y 10 shot open sights standing. Unfortunately I didn’t find that activity much to my liking.

But I a blast chasing a soda can!!

I started with a full can all shook up 10 yards. A fresh CO2 cartridge and a first shot soda explosion and then chased it all the way out to 20y shooting with both eyes open off of a sand bag. I even got it to flip back, standing upright a couple of times 😁😁.

Target 10y 10 shots shooting off sand bag.

Yes, that's them! Thanks so much! JG won't ship small orders so Im not sure when I'll need enough other parts to make an order.
I was hoping to find something locally in the hardware store or whatever but these are a 6-40 thread so, not common.

Yes, I ended up going with these and will shorten them. Decent shipping and pack of 10.
Wanted to follow up here: These worked out great, just needed a bit of shortening:

Day 13 of airgun Advent, and the grinch almost won. Beautiful day in the mid-50s with light wind. I got home later than expected in the afternoon, but got everything setup to pellet test my Daisy 880 at the 10 meter line. I had even cleaned up leaves and picked up some spent lead from previous sessions. As I was about to setup camera to start recording, my 2nd child called to tell me someone was at the house for some work. By the time they left the sun had set, and the opportunity was gone. Thus my grinchy attitude began to settle in. I was actually preparing to climb in bed with that attitude when I remembered the point of my Advent is to keep the grinch away. So I grabbed rifle, pellets, and a challenge target and headed out to drive the grinch off. Mission successful, and this is my encouragement for everyone to watch out for your own grinchiness.

The hatsan 135 is done. It's still a pain to cock but it's a little better. I also replaced the spring guild in my 125 with one made by Mikey B. The buzzing bees are dead!! It use to be so loud I couldn't hear the pellet hitting the target. I did lose around 25 fps over the stock hatsan spring guide but the new guide is twice as long and a lot tighter fit.

Cleaned the bore of my new hatsan 125 .22 I just got. Shot about 30 shots out of it and it finally stopped smoking at around 15-20. I was getting a wide range of vel in that range. My 3rd shot out of it came in at 33 fpe. It finally settled down at 23 fpe shooting JSB 18 grainers. I figure in another 30 to 50 rounds it will settle down

Did you figure out what the 125 settled to? I see it's still on for 99$ 22 cal. I have 2 springers, one Ruger impact max elite and a gamo swarm Evo. The 13 yr olds aty house like both but lost interest once they noticed the power on the different pcps I have. I figured I'd sell those and get a harder hitting budget springer.

Springer day, with the Springfield Armory M1A Underlever. Did a 25 shot group, then plinked around. Standing, off-hand, 20 yards (few shots taken at 40 yards), with factory irons. 33 out, with allegedly 12mph winds. 4" 25-shot group ain't great, but I'm still tickled with it. The grinch has been held at bay for another day.

Just cleaning my new Zelos and airing it up. Not as dirty as Notos arrive.
I’ve been breaking my back building my son a sandbox for Christmas. Since that photo I started installing landscape fabric, but I ran out of staples so it’s Miller Time.
I might try and mount a scope after the kid goes to bed and take a few shots. My factory reg is set at 2100ish psi.

I think it's right around 700 fps with a jsb 18 grain.

I forgot to say, I'm at 5270' asl which will reduce the power of a springer.

My tank on hand only was able to fill to 225 bar, but I got some shots. So far so good. She's shooting 18gr REALLY hot. Only 20 yards off a front bag. I took the first shot without a moderator, she was loud. I shot most with my Sumo. I took a couple shots at the end with a tanto, and it did well enough if I only have to take out a pest. If its a long shooting session, I will use the Sumo. No POI shift changing between those two mods

22 degrees here today, after snow blowing my and my neighbors driveways. Shoveling my deck and some “honey do’s”. Sent eleven pellets with my Pathfinder XR from 33 yards to 64 yards. Hit my 1” spinner at 50 yards four times in a row. Last shot at 64 yards? Dead on, then inside as I was freezing. Now it was night so sent eleven more with my Atomic XR with Zulus atop. Plinking from 33 to 50 yards, it never gets old, but I do and it’s cold. So am inside now nursing a bourbon and beer…🙏🙈😈
