I received 3 airguns this week... Two from Hatsan USA, and one from Airguns of Arizona. I purchased a Mod25 Supertact QE with the intention of making it my small pest dispatcher. It's advertised at 675fps with lead pellets, and I don't have to use up a whole CO2 cartridge, or get out the HOA compressor... Great right? Yeah, no. I strongly regret that purchase. Review to be posted shortly.
I also ordered a refurb Zada... I'd never heard of it, but it was only $80 for a break barrel with an interesting design and specs. Haven't tried it yet because, despite the sour taste Hatsan has left, I had something much better in store.
I also received my new Western Airguns Mordax Venom Longstrike in .22 cal. It's the normal Mordax, but with a bottle drop, bigger plenum, 300CC carbon bottle, and a 14-inch barrel. Yesterday was Hatsan day... Today was a palate cleanser. This thing is awesome. I haven't stretched it out yet, but I put about 50 or 60 pellets through it free-hand at 10yds, and was getting one-hole groups every time. I expect tight groups at 10yds, but one hole is uncommon for me, shooting unsupported.
Basically I was just sighting in and chronographing, and got caught up in the fun when I realized my tank was low. I'll have to take it out to 30yds another time. Unfortunately, that's my longest sightline in my back yard.
Incidentally, that thing is LOUD as it comes... And QUIET with a DonnyFL Sumo on it. After a few shots open, I was worried I wouldn't be able to use it in the back yard. That Sumo has never made such a difference before!
