What'cha doing air gun related today?

I noticed a sharp decline to my groups with my Bullshark. I decided to do a thorough barrel clean, mind you i did this about two weeks ago also. I have shot it a lot. Hopefully this brings it back. I was surprised how dirty it was.
I have an extra .42L bottle that I felt was too big for my notos sitting around, so I decided to put it to use. I installed the valve and filled it up. it won't get me much, but its nice to have.
How many rounds have you shot since you last cleaned it? She was very filthy!

Same ammo? Weight, length, diameter.
I had a similar issue with one of my guns and it turned out to be a small amount of crud in the moderator?
not sure if thats of any help.
Yup. I was using the same batch of pellets I shot the 191 with.

I took apart the moderator yesterday and inspected that and it was all good.

It will seem to improve and stack several pellets, then it will have a shot not close. It isn't consistent either. At 30 yards I was keeping everything in largest ring, but now its out. The ring is 1.4cm.

It's regulated right? fill it with air, If so take 10 shots and see what you get for numbers and keep an eye on the regulator.

Well whatever my TX200 is suffering from, it might be contagious!?😬...Canada post went back on strike...my TBT tune kit is probably gonna get stuck somewhere again😠 Royal air mail gets it to Canada and from there I'm not to sure....hopefully FedEx or Purolator!
Nothing worse in this hobby when a lazer accurate airgun become inconsistent outta the blue and you cant figure it out, I got one more thing to try. Hmmm maybe I'll have a fighting chance now in the .177 fall challenge.

I started out trying to figure out my Bullshark issue. I think the regulator might have settled lower. When I first tuned it would get to 822 fps with adjusting up to max HS. Now the window is 802 for minimum, to 810 max HS.

Also cleaning an affordable rifle that I will be shooting the 30YC and other challenges that come up on the forums. I’ve shot a 200 with a Revere and a S200 with Sightron scopes, now it’s time to see what i can do with an affordable rifle and scope. I’m waiting on the scope to arrive.
These were the first 5 patches. The last one was saturated heavily in ballistol, I’m going to let that sit over night.

Bro it shoots even more buttery than before… 60fpe and 50 shots.. no barrel flip. No BS and no drama. Just smashes birds harder than I go on a bag of twizzlers.
Thats awesome man! I had my 250z 22 out yesterday doing some target work and turned up the reg to 2100 psi and i could clearly hear it smacking the backstop harder. My chrono quit working as my clumsy self dropped it so I'm wondering how much more fps im getting out of it. I still got about 50 shots before refilling as well. With the BRK silencer on it's still so quiet it sounds like it's broken! I took the mod off and fired and it sounded as loud as my 22 put it back on and shot another 50 rounds and still shooting great! No pests in sight of course so that sucks. How difficult is it to install that new plenum with the drop down cover? Thanks brother!

The last few months I have been shooting the Texan .308, love that PCP. I also have a AEA Challenger 357 big bore that I have been neglecting. Since I have the 308 with night vision I went back to a day scope on the 357 and zeroed in, WOW I forgot how bad that trigger is! I have done some work on it before, took some of the lead off and polished it. Yesterday I did some work to the valve, polished stem & seat also took 1 coil off the return spring, opened transfer port from 0.450 to 0.470 and polished. Removed 1 of the 3 hammer spring pre-loads. What I'm trying to accomplish is more efficient air delivery = better velocity with less air pressure and better trigger. Here are some before numbers with a bad trigger. Was tethered

It’s insanely easy…. You do have to expand the hole in the stock though. It goes where the regulator gauge goes. Uses the same o-ring. I used a Dremel to expand the hole in about 5 min. Then the gauge goes on the bottom of the plenum with the included bonded washer. Including degassing and refilling the gun it’s about 30-45min depending on how meticulously you open up the hole.

The box just slides open and has tiny little alan keys that you just use to tighten the box. It just slides over the plenum and when tightened it squeezes like a clamshell so no risk of a set screw or anything. Quite sturdy. I’ve actually used it to rest the gun while shooting a dove. lol definitely not load bearing but it’s not so fragile that you’re afraid to move around with the gun.
