My Taipan has been has having an ongoing issue with ever increasing difficulty in cocking, lubing the pellet probe and the entire cocking assembly seemed to help. The interval between applications, shorter and shorter.

So I had to take the pellet probe assembly out. I thought I was going to have to get new parts because I could not initially get the pellet probe removed.

The owners manual has an exploded view so I was able to see the retaining ring and I had everything removed.

The probe was basically locked up inside of it.

I was finally able to get the probe out and then use a drillbit to clean up the probe housing.

There was a lot of scarring on the probe and I could see it inside the walls of the housing/tube (whatever it’s technically called)

Polished up the probe and housing, everything works perfectly now.

66 pellets through my PP750 so far, 12ish through my Notos.

Another 85 pumps in on my Texan LSS CF so far. Discovered that gun leads pump gage by about 200 psi. If anything I suspect the pump gage to be wrong. The gun has matched my rovair gage pretty well.

For any wondering, no... 4 shots is not worth this effort normally. The things we do for "science".

Yeah... hand pumping the 3622 is not bad. 50 seconds of work for 20-25 shots is not bad. I'm much happier to use my compressor for the Texan, now and forever.

BTW 233 pumps, across 2 sessions, to fill Texan CF from ~2300 to ~3600. 10/10 don't recommend.

I cleaned my PP750 barrel to give a fresh start as I want to try some Crosman pellets.

I took a photo with the shroud off to realty depict how ridiculous the dream Notos block and 420cc tank are on this carbine

This was with a 6x scope that has a reticle that covers everything, but I still didn’t see a difference. It likes JSB pellets more

Slowly converting my Barra 250z to an economical bench rest replica. I need to make a few more changes to the butt stock and the bag rider, then onto the chassis. Right now I am working on 100 yards, but I will probably switch to 50 yards

I had to stop at home on my lunch break and found an invader. My 25 cal P35 was the only AG handy, so some overkill for the 17y shot.

I also went back to 13gr pellets with my BullShark. It shots KO’s decent, but really likes 13gr pellets.
