What'cha doing air gun related today?

Lol and Sub12 just dropped an S510 video!!! Beyond excited to watch.....soon you will have a country again FL22.... I mean gun 😆. U don't think origin is fixable? Broke out my guns today too....S510 was a littttle low as well. hmmm Ditching the Hawke mounts and installing same height Sportsmatch ones, So much better machining, no comparison. Included is my 98 Yard retry on a pigeon sized silhouette. First 3 were high, rest were hits, The .22 Ghost is a long range shooter for sure! Used Ol faithful MRDS. Then the S510 got all jelly so I took out the left bird with (also complete guess) a holdover volley. 6 shots, only one kill shot though all @98Y. Notice the left to right is excellent, height error all me most likely. Front foam rest off bench, guns into my shoulder.
I think your new member name should be
GhostMan-Dan 😁. Hope you’ll be ready for all the questions I’m going to ask you about that S510.

So real and good shooters shoot freehand or standing ??? No skill required for shooting off the bench ??!? A lot of shooters will probably disagree with you and so do I (y) 🎯 🙃 :)
Well there not locked down in a vice thing. lol. All skill dude .. any whoever can lock a gun down and hit .. that guy freehand made the shot . Honestly You did not your crutching did.. sad but true ..

Well we all know how .177 groups would look @ 100Y plus free standing😅....No point really! I shoot bench, semi bench (most often, to simulate hunting shots), off hand, etc. Some days offhand is easy some days not. Some days bench is easy other days not. It all 100% takes skill!! But yeah if you are vicing the gun down....that's pointless, unless initial sight in or after a repair. Lately we are trying tripods, Clamping does the springers is a bad idea, won't really help, we open the clamp loosely, shoulder the guns and shoot.

Today it is putting the folder on my BRK and inspecting the air cylider since I bought it used. Nice and dry inside! I am doing a reg rebuild while I have it apart.

Many thanks to @Sub 12 airgunners for his quality videos and making this process an easy one.

I sat here brain cramping on folder.

Then I figured folding stock ?

Yup. But I have encountered a problem with the reg rebuild. I told Huma what make model I have. They sent me a kit with some of the right o rings, but not all. And some extra.

The top is what I removed, bottom is what they sent me.Now I need to measure and see if I have the one i need on the reg exterior, the biggest o ring

All the pcp oring threads ( anybody know???) I just don't get why the manufacturer makes this a big mystery..

Not like Huma is a cheap china thing .

that should have a serviceable part size/ list of things he brings in the manual .
also kinda sad they send you a incomplete rebuild kit ... Is that one oring a big trade secret and too bad so sad for you ..?
I run into this a some things that here's everything you need but one one thing to fix it .. lol

Maybe call or email these guys and see if they will tell you .

Funny . None of the kits here show BRK

O-ring sets

I have an Industrial o-ring company nearby work which is nice but yeah still big hassle. Grab old o-ring, try not to lose it!! Bring it, size it, durometer, thickness, metric/standard they might have to make it and then minimum order, or give you the closest one, which rarely works 😓

Sometimes that's the trouble with internet shopping, people want it too easy. A whole kit, no dimensions or sizes required.
Plus it's good for business, why sell one o ring or give the sizes.

In fairness, one phone call to Bagnall and Kirkwood and they will tell you what you need to know.
I've been a customer of theirs for many years. I used to work in the same city as B&K.

Many modern manufacturers now have all the o ring sizes on the schematics.

Older manufacturers still, in my opinion keep everything and every size top secret.

Perhaps it's time the sponsored guys gave some feedback to the manufacturer, we need sizes, not just a sales pitch.

Personal thoughts. Nothing more.

It be nice .. like gun reviews are all sale pitch , endorsement , and sugar. Then I get bashed when I bring up some reality/ cons never spoken) taboo .. right?

Then that internet shopping ... Like where else can I shop ? Not like Walmart or Lowes has a darn thing you really need local ..lol

I could not find that at brk things . Or not listing a individual part or sizeing . Ya, here's a pring in here but .... 🤤

all these companies know what they are order for specs wht cant they just include that when they sell a gun? or post in on their website its not brain surgery they know what the o-rings are.
not all of us live where we can just go down the road and get the stuff.
i have to mail order anything i need. and i have no clue as to what the sizes i would need are?
and i should not have to spend hrs trying to serch the internet and figure it just just to have messed up and got the wrong ones and wate for more. i say thats bull shlt.
thats just me and my two cents on the matter.
