Well, honestly I love my TX200 MKIII but not enought to nearly double the price for stock.

Guys like me that already own a TX200 could buy a aftermarket stock for LESS than this new offering.

That price is ridiculous. Had they made a a 22mm 12ftlb version for FT I probably would have considered it but as it stands now, no thanks.

That being said, I'm pretty sure that's mostly dealer markup we're seeing right now. UK stores all seem to be closer to $1100 for them.

I was having enough of a problem justifying spending the money on any TX200. I did want a walnut stock. You want me to spend what on what?!

I would have to agree 100% with everybody here... waaaay 2 expensive for a single shot spring gun. All that extra money is in the stock...nope!! I am in the market for an mk3 version (waiting on AGS to stock one in .177) and was already peeved left hand is more money and walnut only. They got a bunch of the new ultimate springers in but I want the traditional wood one. I spent less on my S510, but they are lookers!

In answer to the question I'd love to have an ultimate springer, but for that kind of cash I'd like some sort of ability to choose, or reject the gun if the stock looked like a 2x4.

Airgun Depot lists the laminate at $1499. I didn't realize how expensive glued together wood has gotten.

I agree that it should be less than the walnut. Laminate would be the strongest. The adjustability of the butt, comb, and the enhancement of the trigger surfaces are appealing. It's a great time to be an air gunner.

It's too much for a springer, especially in this economy. That laminated stock isn't worth almost double the price of the walnut version.
