Got distracted and forgot to post last night. My September YotP gun and some pellets were delivered, gift from another. My first Barra, and I realized I've been keeping a false notion that Barra is a Spanish company, rather than US...

Received the spotting scope I bought from GovX. It's a athlon talos and through GovX I got it for half off. I got lucky and our friend who works at the PO kept it from being sent back. I didn't know that GovX was going to send it out usps. I thought it was going to be shipped UPS or FedEx because they wouldn't ship to a PO box.

Purchased some pellets and slugs from Utah Air, aea 25.3 .22 cal and jsb knockout .251 to try. Curious, does Utah Air usually send out an email with shipping info usually/and or show them on the customer profile because I haven't seen anything yet. I ordered these on Monday and in 3 days I haven't noticed any info saying they have been shipped.
I’m just saying this based on my own experience with them, call and verify that the order went through.
Last I tried to buy pellets from Utah the ordering process took my money and then I got no shipping confirmation after a weeks time! I called and the person told me they were out of stock on the pellets I had ordered. I ask why the system took my order? He had no good answer. I haven't attempted a purchase from Utah since that event.

Well based off the two responses I received here, I went ahead and called to ask. The fellow said by today/tomorrow I should receive a tracking email. And that they had a large amount of orders(which I assumed) over the holiday from the free shipping. Time will tell.

I just ordered a Heartland Airguns, "The Prototype" (40mm) suppressor with an M14x1.25 thread instead of the typical 1/2-20 thread.
Should be a good fit for my Uragan 2 that has a 38mm shroud.
The Uragans and Vulcans have substantial built in baffle units inside the shroud that takes most of the 'bark' out of the rifle but they are still not what most folks consider, 'backyard friendly'.
Hope the rifle's harmonics agree with adding a suppressor???

They always send me emails for every process, they're pretty good about it, you should call them.
What are you trying the .251 KO's in? I just got some from them too. I hope to try them in my G3 Mrod this weekend, but it's time to start doing firewood so I don't know if I will get to it.
I can't wait to hear, what you think about it. It is superior on my Gen 3 Mrod, which is .25 also, and I am using it threaded directly to the barrel.
Because my U2 .25 has a long stack of baffles in the shroud I bought the .30 caliber Heartland just to give the rifle less chance for clipping. If I am attaching the suppressor directly to the barrel I always go with same caliber as rifle.
I'm very anxious to hear the rifle's report with the new suppressor!

Nice! I'll be curious to see at what speed you find them to be the best at. I don't remember reading much about how this particular slug shoots or what it likes for a twist rate either. That's why I decided to try them.

I decided to buy them because, although I haven't shot a lot of slugs out of max 1, what I have seems a lot easier to chamber and I'm curious if the .251 will be a bit tighter. And what I have shot, I haven't found one accurate yet. I'm saying that knowing I haven't spent enough time changing the regulator/hammer spring(max 1 needs a lighter spring and doesn't adjust) to find a speed that works/and or rule specific slugs to be accurate or inaccurate. And I asked Wes at airgun archery what the twist rate is on my rifle and haven't heard anything. Also this .25 Zelos project rifle I bought is supposed to be a slug liner. Time will tell!
Id like to run slugs and pellets through the barrel and see what come about it but the barrel is wrapped in a air tube and haven't had the nerve to remove it so I can run projectiles through it.
I am more than a little frustrated with Pinty and the mythical Buster. Ordered in July, they said ship by mid August. End of August comes and the email went lilke this: (I paraphrase for brevity and to assist with triple translation) So you ordered the carbine kit with your Buster, and that wont be in until October. Did you want us to ship the Buster seperately? WT?x!?!! do you think??? I emailed and said that I would not have ordered the stock kit if I thought for a minute it would hold up the Buster delivery. So they said they sent it. And we had a holiday weekend. And the courier (who I believe is a 12 year old boy riding a bicycle) said they made several attempts to deliver AT MY OFFICE ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. Then they claimed that the office was closed at 5:20 on Tuesday when the tracking website said "out for delivery", but I was there, waiting patiently for my Buster. So the next email is that they just gave up and sent the package back, but, Pinty is going to send another one out of stock (with the managers approval, of course). So, maybe in the next two weeks, but not this weekend (no new toy for me.)
So, yesterday, being less than delighted with prepaying for crap I may never get, the unicorn I may never see, I did what any self respecting HAMster would do. I ordered a Crosman 1701P off of Amazon. It was on sale and it came today. NOW I have a new toy to play with this weekend!!!! Its pretty awesome. I mounted a red dot on it, and sighted it at 10 yards. It shoots lights out! Much happier now.
And, my new RTI P3 with Hawke 6-24 arrives monday! .22 and .30 barrels! This hobby is really fun, but its kind of expensive?

OK Wow. This little Crosman is stupid accurate. Red dot scope with 2moa dot. ran a few tanks. last one about 50 shots ranging from 490 to 460, with a slow and steady decline. 7gr weistersomething wadcutters. 5 yards in the garage resting in the V of my tripod. I like!

Purchased a raiseek cleaning rod for .22/25, .25 cal brush n swabs. Going to have to remove a couple lodged slugs from a long barrel. Should be here tomorrow morning.

Picked up a used DNT Zulus HD about a month ago and didn’t realize the built‑in 850nm IR isn’t interchangeable. For coyote hunters, that matters — 850nm throws a visible glow, and pressured dogs pick up on it fast at close range.
I fixed the problem by adding a SiOnyx 940nm 5W LED IR Illuminator Kit. This is a true 940nm no‑glow torch, completely invisible to the naked eye, and it lines up perfectly on the Zulus side rail. Big difference for night hunting.
here are a few pictures of it mounted on my .357 Reaper. After testing both rifles, the Reaper hits harder at my actual hunting distance (around 80 yards), gives me more PSI flexibility in cold weather, and stays more consistent shot‑to‑shot. For close‑range coyote work, it’s now my #1 over the .308 Texan.
