Your comments indicate that 10 Meters is not the standard first or second zero. What distance is it tuned to? Please explain how your equipment shot very well. I use my scopes for magnification only, so I don't know much about their other options. Do your turrets adjust down to 10M or are you holding crosshairs over? Scope markings on the bell are for 2nd focal point? Scope axis looks to be +50MM above bore axis. Is felt tip dot your POA or offset focus point? The new pellets results look good at this distance, but are you happy with the results and would you use again? Thanks for the feedback!I know it’s rather silly to shoot a .25 cal air gun @ 10 meters in the basement but I was bored and 10 meters in the basement is want I’m restricted to for the time being. Anyhow, this was the first five shots with these pellets from the .25 cal Marauder that I haven’t shot in well over 6 months, at least, maybe longer.
I typically shoot the 25.39 JSB but I found a couple of tins of these Benjamins locally. I’ve never tried these before. I had a coupon for that store so I bought the only two tins they had.
Anyways, hope you all are having a good week. Stay safe and keep cool.

Yes, I would say I’m happy with the results at this distance with these pellets. This Marauder has a 24” TJ barrel and has shoot the 25 gr JSB Kings extremely well.Your comments indicate that 10 Meters is not the standard first or second zero. What distance is it tuned to? Sorry I haven't got back to you earlier. Thanks for the feedback about the pellet data. Cost factors drive most of my decisions when I buy for the air gun range. In the past I have had 2 purchases of 6000 Daisy wadcutters pellets and the last purchase for 9000 pellets. I try to keep the cost down to $.02/shot, and that includes CO2. I prefer CO2 pistols for new shooters because the kids may not have the muscle for pump guns and do it safely. I figure the club and I can afford 50 shots for a buck and no charge to the kids. The pellets from the last order seemed to be noticeably harder lead. Since the range is 13 yards, the performance of the pellets does not seem to be a negative factor for accuracy. I developed a sight that is a natural fit for low powered air gun at close range. Having kids shoot from 2-13 yards at reactive targets with 1/4" accuracy does keep the challenge level high for them. They do an outstanding job.Yes, I would say I’m happy with the results at this distance with these pellets. This Marauder has a 24” TJ barrel and has shoot the 25 gr JSB Kings extremely well.
Whether I would buy these pellets again? I don’t know. I suppose I would if I really needed pellets for this Marauder and the JSB Kings weren’t available. Otherwise there isn’t that much of an advantage. The Kings are great. There’s more in a tin and they are less expensive. Like I said, I had a coupon and was curious how the Benjamin’s would shoot so I bought them.
Yes the black felt tip mark was my poa.
I’m a close range shooter. I like to shoot sporting clays, hunt pheasant annd quail and I shoot archery as well. So long range shooting just isn’t a thing for me. I don’t venture out beyond 50-55 yards with air guns.
I’m not an extremely sophisticated shooter. I keep it simple. I don’t use ballistic apps. I’m not dialing my scopes. I don’t weigh or sort my pellets. I’m not tuning my rifles to absolute perfection. I generally zero my rifles at 25 yards. I use hold over when my targets are closer or further out than my zero. If I remember right my far zero with this Marauder is around 35 yards. I’m using a Hawke Airmax 3-9x40AO on this Marauder and it’s approximately 2.5” over the center of the bore.
I'd probably call in sick if I were you
Black box daisy flatheads done me well when I could get them here . Low power like pistol at 10m I like using them .Sorry I haven't got back to you earlier. I 'm also a close-range shooter. I seldom shoot my PBs rifles over 100 Yards. I shoot my air pistols to 20 yards for plinking and pesting. My style of shooting does not give me enough variety of feedback. I learn a lot from all the other members on how they are shooting. Interesting concepts and opinions. Thanks again for the response.
40/50 Yards? Pellets? It’s been raining everyday this week so can’t do much shooting. Only had a chance to sight in the scope. It’s a phenomenal gun

60 yards with JSB 18.13gr pellets. It is running a little hot right now and I can really feel the power. Chrono at 1030 FPS. Will play with tuning and shoot further out when when the weather is better. Also have JSB 25.39 gr pellets and H&N slugs to test.40/50 Yards? Pellets?![]()
