Ultimate Field Target match this Saturday, 02/28/2026, @ Phoenix Rod and Gun Club

A UFT match will be held at PRGC on Saturday, 02/28/2026.

PRGC calendar has 1230-1800 blocked off. Plan on sight-in/practice starting at 1200-1215ish and the match starting around 1230. Realistically, could be anywhere from 1230-1330, with how it typically goes, waiting for prior firearm matches to end and vacate.

The most inclusive field target matches that exist. If you have an airgun that shoots pellets or slugs, from 18-100fpe, you've got what you need to come have fun. Or even a subsonic rimfire. I know of no other place in the country that allows you to shoot a field target match with a rimfire, and slug field target opportunities are sparse.

That sounds like a lot of fun! People can see what each other can accomplish with their own level of equipment and figure out if they want to move up, or perhaps move down, to just have more fun.

We do show them as separate events; rimfire (Saturday) & air rifle (Sunday). But no objections to bringing your air rifle on Saturday if you can't make Sunday (or don't shoot rimfire).
