I have a Daisy 200 that I love to shoot due to it being a true semi (at least it feels it) with an easy trigger. All my other semi autos are more or less double action feel (like shooting a revolver double action). Not what I’ve call true semi auto. I know the Daisy 200’s are known to fail. Is there any rifle/pistol being made now that is truly semi auto (with a 22lr rifle semi auto feel-easy trigger)? I know Crosman used to have the 400 & 600 but what is out there now? When they came out, I was given a Crosman DPMS. Since it’s auto/semi auto, I hoped this would work for the feel of my 22 rimfire itch without having to leave my lawn to shoot it. But it doesn’t. The trigger is heavy and long like a double action revolver.

Based on the nature of your post I would say you are looking for a pistol. There are a couple of options out there right now.

The Crosman 600 is a fun one but hard to find and expensive to repair.

I would recommend you look at the Huben GK1. That would be my first and best recommendation.

There is the Hassan Velox and Evanix had one I can’t find right now. They are just okay and will have periodic jams.

BTW - I have a Daisy 100 that still works most of the time.
