I was shooting a .25 call Marauder with a Hawke Frontier optic.

Got er done! If printing was the hard part, shooting in the wind was the second hardest part
Brk Ghost shooting deep 25.39 Mrds @ probably 965fps in this cold. Last target was the turkey neck and it felt a waste to just take one shot.... So I rage fired 5 (wasn't sure if it was Ghost or winds fault on poor scoring and needed to verify!) first shot juuussst clipped it so I'm counting it!! Turns out it was the wind as she stacked em, of course wind was down for that. Going with a score of 134 then. Not participating and think it's easy? These dots are smaller than a .22 pellet!

Yeah between weather, sunlight, time, work, & chores it's tough to get out these days but I'm glad I did even if it was for half an hour!

I got my targets printed but don't think I will get a chance today : ( I did pop a mess of tree rats that decided they were going to have a party today if that counts for anything?

okay I did get some paper punched today but did not do as good as I would like so I will try again tomarrow if not these will go up.

Those targets are harder than they look! As mentioned above, that "bullseye" is just a small dot. It gets even smaller at 50 yards!

yes its a challenge and that's what I was dealing with is loosing the bulls eye with the crosshair hold over intersection I was thinking if I dial it it tomarrown so I can use the dot I might do better?
probably and its not like I a not only one shooting the target?


what size did you guys print this at? not sure what I did but I had to go up to 150% to get it to what everyone else looks like?
or did we come up with a PDF? I know the bonus was pdf as I made it but I did not see a pay for the main one?
maybe I missed it?

So I was thinking about this and @Hateful McNasty came up with the target and he may have put some bad juju in there because you always picking on springers.

Might have made the target really small just for you to get a -30 score

I get it set up as PDF and enlarge the bulleyes a. tad or a smidge and save it in our target thread so next time it will be ready.

I wish I had seen this thread a couple weeks ago. With the weather turning colder, I’m not sure how many tries I’ll have at this, so today it is.

It has gotten a bit colder, 48* here today with a pretty steady 10mph wind with gusts to 20mph. Shot 10 shots to see how the rifle is holding up in the cold, and it is still right on target, so I decided to get a target in while I could.

JSB .22 25RD
Setup to 965FPS (didn’t chrony today)
50 yards

Wind picked up on #2, and it took until #4 to get adjusted, and then at #8, the wind just died! Almost missed.

Nicely done, seems to be the wind conditions i shot mine in! We have been trying to do one competition on Ham per month, anyone can try at various ranges, lots of fun You were shooting off the ground and not a bench by the looks of things?

Ha! Just a bad picture. That table is just full of twigs, leaves, acorns, etc from sitting under the tree. I don’t bother wiping it off, because more will fall.

Let’s try this other picture from another day where you can kinda see the table. Also a picture from that same day down the path in the woods where I shoot.

That table is actually rotted through as well, so you can kinda see the yard sign that is laying on top to keep the bipod from going thru the table.

Glad to have you join us! I don’t know if you have seen this thread but it’s more or less how the Challenge started.

I know that it can make for a long thread but you only have to go one place and skip to the last post to see what’s going on and help brainstorm.

As things start getting colder, I’m trying to come up with a challenge that will work for everyone that wants or must shoot indoors and yet would still work for those of us who can shoot outside. I’ll discuss it more in the above link.
