Have no experience with gen 1 so i can’t help there. Trigger is very nice didn’t even adjust so very good out of box ( i like a 8 oz trigger) side lever not bad but i didn’t thing it was quite as nice as the ghost( haven’t shot it in a while so?)

VERY choked barrels, on at least the 5-6 gen 1 Veterans barrels I had in hand and/or own.

To be honest i was really surprised at how nice it shoots. Saw some on you tube but don’t always believe it all cause it usually takes just a bit for a gun to settle in especially shooting slugs. Really expected it to fall apart at 100 but it did well and i had no wind flags and was just single loading and firing away. Might be ugly but i don’t care so long as it shoots this good or gets a little better!

When they shoot so nice… they get prettier!

+1 ! Have the delta wolf and Taipan 2 (700 mm and 500 mm barrels) can't decide which to use some days, so I bring em both!

The taipan HAS been known to unplug the Delta wolf occasionally!

Yes, and typically light slugs the Vet 1s aren't powerhouses but they do a damn good job at what they do.
