I have hooked RovAir compressor with original filter to Hill dry pac pro filter. There is no need to use a flow restrictor screw as the two filters slow down the fill time. There is no perfect solution and this is temporary until my Hill EVO-310 compressor arrives. Then I will eliminate the RovAir compressor and filter. I don't think I have a moisture problem but who really knows. I have dry fired with muzzle a foot away from sheet of cardboard with no moisture showing. Don't know if this means anything or if there is a test.Hill filter.webp

I understand your reply. But you are not focusing on my using the 2 filters ( in line cigarette type and Hill Dry Pac Pro) . Do you like this idea or do you think I am wasting my time and money?

I don’t think that you are wasting time or money, I do something similar and have had positive results.

My setup vertically (water is heavier than air) from the compressor, it goes to a cartridge filter, then to the desiccant filter, then another cartridge filter to capture any dust, and then to the Airgun.

I fill in a climate controlled environment and have an additional dehumidifier near by. I live in Florida very close to the Gulf of America. Inspect the internals of my Airguns regularly, zero moisture issues so far.

The best advice I can give is to fill vertically, inspect everything regularly and use color indicating desiccant beads.
