I degassed my rifle and lowered the reg pressure to start tuning it. I went out today and was adjusting the hammer spring and reg and all went well. This evening I went to refill it off the compressor and it won't build pressure beyond about 140 bar. I then tried my FX Crown and had no problem getting it up to 250 bar. Hooked up the BRK and 140 or so again and again and again. When it hits that pressure there is a little metallic ting sound coming from the block/tank area that occurs consistent every time I try to fill it.

Hmmm...did you by chance lower the reg to 140Bar? Can you feel where the air is going?

Have you tried cocking the rifle then filling?
I thought about that as well, but I don't believe that's his issue. I just dumped the air in my S510 to replace the fill fitting to a QC and it required cocking to fill. However once it had 50bar I decocked it with compressor still running and it was plenty to hold the H.S. back.
