Ghost Slow first shot

I thought I would check this today after it's been sitting for about a week and it's definitely slow the first shot. I didn't check for accuracy, only velocity. I'm guessing this is normal?

Ghost .22cal, 28" barrel, 122bar reg, 25.39gr Redesigned Shallow skirt pellets. That doesn't really matter though. I was just wondering if other people experienced a slow first shot with their Ghosts after they've sat for a while. Maybe I shouldn't have posted the shot string.

There are lots of threads discussing the slow first shot. It’s definitely a phenomenon with a lot of Ghosts and some other guns.

Sorry, didn't pay attention to the subforum or your tag . I agree with @Billm, I've read about this issue with many different guns, notably FX ones. Some have posted the fix but I can't remember what they are.

I went to test the 25cal and accidentally double loaded the first shot. It was really slow. Second shot was down a bit too. I think it sat for maybe 2-3 months prior to today.

The first shot on both of my Ghosts is usually 20 to 25 FPS slower than the second or third shot. I up my power wheel by 2-3 for at least the first shot that will usually always put the velocity where I want it and for my follow-up shots, I drop it back down 2-3. I have been doing this for quite a while now and it seems to work pretty well.
