250Z RogueAir's Slug Power Kit adjustment on 250z Gen.2

@Northeastbeast I just got a new 250z so it is gen 2. The hammer spring retainer plug on mine is two pieces, a large diameter screw that's the same diameter as the original with a smaller diameter screw in the center for adjusting the spring tension. I had backed the smaller one out after the install to set spring tension to a minimum to start adjustment from that setting. When I went to put the stock back on I had to run the smaller screw in for it to clear the stock. I did back it out some after I had finished putting the front portion back on. Have you had experience adjusting the spring tension on your kit in a Gen 2 yet? If so can you give me an idea where I should start.

I have also installed the 14cc external plenum by C88.

I'm planning on shooting Franco's 32 gr HP slugs and trying some pellets that wouldn't require much changing of reg' pressure or spring tension.

Just a FYI, I did install Teflon tape on the smaller diameter spring tension adjustment screw to prevent it from gradually moving and changing the setting. I saw it happening on a YouTube:

That's what I was planning. I have a home made rifle vice to clamp it in to check group size and a Chronograph to monitor speeds. Where should I put the larger screw? in reference to the pin that keeps it from moving. Where do I then put the smaller diameter tension screw? back it out from clearing the stock to put them back together? Or go forward? And what method of adjustment do you use from there? I hear that there's a point that the fps stops changing, just gets louder, back up a half turn and proceed slowly to get tightest group.

I'm shooting 33 to 34 grain slugs. I think the spring from the slug kit is perfect for the gen2, but without the brass weight.

If you're going to push a 36 grain or heavier slug the brass weight may help at a higher reg pressure. I'd still be worried the spring would be too long.
