As mentioned in a previous post, the Pyramyd Cup has become almost a trade show in terms of the new airgun products that can be seen there. Let’s look at those I saw at the 2026 “Cup”.
Above, Terry Harman of Buck Rail was joined by his sons Beauregard and Oliver. All three work in the Buck Rail business and the Pyramyd Cup was a great opportunity for the boys to see the airgun community close-up at first hand. They both behaved commendably!
In our heading photograph above we see the new forend Terry has designed for the Umares Notos G2. It includes an Arca rail which we see in close-up below.
Below we see the Buck Rail forend for the Air Venturi AirStryke.
Then Beauregard and Oliver showed me the Buck Rail chassis for the FX DRS.
Finally we see a Buck Rail buttplate that fits AirForce rifles with a carbon fiber HPA tank.
What do you need at a 100 Yard benchrest competition but long-range optics! Hawke was showing two new spotting scopes. This one is the new Frontier ED-X Compact 15-35 x 56 model.
It’s tough to appreciate how small this actually is from the photographs, but the size (or the lack of it) really impressed me.
Then there was also a more conventional Vantage HD 20-60 x 80 model.
We also tried out the small Frontier model with the Hawke cellphone adapter, with good results as you can see below.
Finally, Hawke was showing the new Frontier ED X Gen 2 8 x 42 binoculars.
Umarex USA was present, as always at the Pyramyd Cup. This year, the company was showing a range of 2026 new airgun products which were being shown for the first time. These included the Vedara CO2 pistol…
… plus the .25 caliber Outpost PCP air rifle, kindly displayed by the company’s Mark Davis.
This was also the first time I had seen the Tusk big bore PCP air rifle.
Air Venturi was displaying the new Springfield Armory TRP 1911 Full Auto CO2 BB pistol. Yes, there’s many 1911 BB guns around, but this is clearly a very nice example and it functioned faultlessly. Of course I had to try the full-auto capability and can report to HAM readers that it produces big smiles from all concerned!!!
Macavity Arms had the new MA8 benchrest gun. We have already carried a summary of this interesting new PCP air rifle in HAM…
… but this was a first opportunity for me to try shooting it myself.
Airgun Angie was shooting the .30 caliber MA8 in the 100 Yard competition, too.
Finally for this report, main event sponsor Hatsan USA was showing the new Repex carbine. Effectively, this is an extended version of the popular Velox PCP pistol, with collapsible stock and extended HPA tube.
I hope that you have enjoyed this summary of the 2026 new airgun products to be seen at the Pyramyd Cup. It shows that there’s much more to be seen at the event than just the shooting competitions!
