Hi folks. It's winter, time to shoot low power from my ez chair. Pumpers seem ideal, hmmm, big problems, I don't have any. Solution, buy some! Brilliant. My gorgeous gold colored Berra 1866 arrived yesterday, wicked deadly on empty pop cans. Arriving tomorrow, a Seneca Dragonfly Mk2. Also soon to arrive a Daisy 901. Problem solved. It occurs to me that pumpers are actually self contained PCP's, with super ez variable power. Cheers

And they make great "around the barn" pesters.

The brilliance of pumpers is how well they shoot at low power. My new Drangonfly is perfect with 1 pump at 30 ft indoors. Almost as much fun as my Berra 1866, 1 pump on that also. The Berra dents the targets on a SIG dual shooting gallery when bbs are shot with 1 pump. Too bad it's so difficult to load with a pellet. A pellet pen would help.... hmm looking for one now.
Cheers

I'm stocked up on pumpers now. Several pellet and bb/pellet rifles grace my collection now. The standout rifle, hands down is the Crosman 362. Compact, solid, comfortable, accurate, ez to pump, ez to load, excellent value. So impressive I've ordered another one and the steel breach kit. Scope one and peep the other. The factory rear sight is el cheapo, but it is nice to have a rear mounted peep.

That's what I ended up doing; one steel breech and scoped 362, another bone stock. Though I think I need to have Airgun Revisions build one in .20.
