Precihole airguns are manufactured by Precihole Sports, a division of the ISO 9000-certified Precihole Machine Tools company that’s based in India.
Precihole Machine Tools is a multi-million Dollar turnover business that’s a serious player in the precision deep hole drilling solutions market. The company manufactures state-of-the-art machine tools and special purpose machines for multiple industries worldwide that need precise, deep holes precisely created in metal.
Among them are barrel-making machines. Interesting!
At the 2024 IWA OutdoorClassics show in Germany, Air Arms announced that it would be distributing a range of models from Precihole Sports in a number of key territories. This would utilize the British company’s extensive world-wide network of distributor relationships. Of course, Air Arms would also distribute Precihole in the U.K..
Now Air Arms is really pushing forward with this project. They are making a splash in Gun Trade World, the firearms industry magazine. So it’s likely that Precihole airguns may become more readily-available where you live.
But simple logic says that this may not include the USA. At least not any time soon.
Tariffs aside, all the Precihole airguns are in .177 caliber as this is the only legal airgun caliber for the Indian home market. Success in the U.S. market would – of course! – require larger calibers and more power.
But Precihole makes the complete gun – including the barrels on it’s own machinery. So they are likely to be very accurate!
The range of Precihole airguns includes some interesting PCP 10 meter target rifles and pistols. There’s also a range of low-priced PCPs and breakbarrel models.
Air Arms will be providing post-sales support and parts availability, in addition to distributing the guns themselves.
