Pining for warmer weather

In real English a pharmacist is called a chemist. So I got my first drops at the chemists, over the counter no prescription.

Second set of drops was prescribed by a doctor, prescription issued.
Visit chemist shop, hand over prescription. Pay my money, get my prescribed drops issued.

Life's a education. 😉🙂.

I'm not so good with American slang, so unfortunately it's UK English or Bulgarian, the choice is available.

Just for clarification, a trunk is a storage box, not part of a car. Perhaps you meant the car boot.

I'm happy to translate for you if ever needed 😉.

Have a nice day ya'all.
I find that the flag on the right hand corner of everyone’s post can add a little context. 😉

Ya, we Americans can't speak real English anymore .. I listen to people younger then me and wonder " what the he11 is he talking about " or what school did he go to ". ? Facebook st U?

On my visits and work trips to the USA , I always found and still think people from Florida are so friendly and good to chat with.
Small world.
I’m glad you had a positive experience, It is a very diverse place to live. I am a fifth generation Floridian and as one would expect, myself and my family have seen lots of change.

Lots is a major understatement. I guess East and south sees it 100x More then nw does but .. from what it was in my preteens or as a boy compared to today just unreal how it's changed . Not the Florida I was raised up in anymore.

Oops..

Man it's pretty nice today. Sunny the birds chirping, 72° as I post Just that darn wind, but had good gaps between gusts to make a few ..

2 30y and a 50y, on irons and cphp ,R9

Should not complain on Florida . Could be elsewhere in the USA in a windowless basement to be able to shoot 😭.

Change and taxes two of life's guarantees. 😉.

I first visited Florida in the early 80's as part of a jump team. Last visited in 2005 with my future wife, different sort of jumping.😉

That'll give grumpy something to twist.

Thanks to Florida, me and my wife are still happy together.

Anyway, today the weather was super, 25 degrees Celsius. Strongest sunglasses on, no shooting, but eventually it will happen.

So in essence my experience of Florida is definitely positive.
Good people 👍.

Grumpy? Yeah ol’ @Hateful McNasty … now I might be in the minority here who knows, but I think he means well for the most part. He’s just misunderstood by some, but he probably don’t care either way.
I know that, he is a decent miserable miser, unfortunately sometimes I fail, it's life. 🙂
Language, along with shooting is a fantastic topic.

I just call it as I see it and a spade a spade..

I live in Hawaii on the Big Island. The weather at this time of the year in my area is wet. It’s been raining on and off for weeks now but I have gotten in some shooting under a canopy. Also it never gets hot here, rarely ever over 90.
Well they use to say for that is Florida was 2ed to Hawaii in them comparisons.

Rained here near all day yesterday.

Wish I did have a springer today. Wouldn’t have to go back inside and pump this thing up.

Usually how I get hung up in a “honey do trap”you know when the wife asks you “honey will you go do this or will you do that” before you go back outside?
