Pesting referrals are great!

It’s so exciting and rewarding to get a referral to new pesting opportunities! I sent a text to a current permission letting him know that I saw a sparrow in his Martin house as I drove by. He messaged back to shoot’em when I get a chance THEN he told me of another Martin enthusiast to contact!! I’m thrilled!
Also today I received a generous Pyramid Air gift card from another Martin enthusiast I frequently shoot for!

Something I really need to do is go by a dairy farm of which I know the owns and ask for permission! It’s a little further away so that’s all that’s been holding me back. I’m spoiled by my close spots!

Thats always nice! I was just at my parents place shooting yesterday (they have more room to shoot long range) and my brother commented on the birdhouses they built for the blue birds. Well some sparrows and swallows were trying to take over but because we were out they just wouldn't land, blue birds were in and out with no fears. Packed all the guns and stuff in after 2 or 3 hours of shooting, and was saying goodbye and I looked over at the bird house and sure enough them sparrows had landed of course.

Went out to the new spot tonight! 13 Sparrows and a Starling from 60yards! The Starling was the last shot before leaving. They wouldn’t get any closer. The wind was blowing 15 ish mph from SSE. It was one of those shots that make the night!

I stopped and asked for permission at another new location today. I’ve been eyeballing it for a while. I got permission for the business’s location and the owners house! That’s three new spots this week!! !

Edit: shot at two of them and took nearly forty birds down!

On a roll like this I should go check out that dairy that’s been on my mind!
