Paul Capello hosted an early you tube channel, American Airgunner. I always looked forward to his video postings, shooting in the air lodge.
His channel disappeared after a few dozen video's and while trying to find out about him I read he had some issues, sold all of his personal possessions and was living homeless in New York City.
Then he seemed to make a comeback, was working with an air gun dealer out west and posting on different forums. The last one I looked at said he had not posted anything since 2022.
Anyone know his current status?
It would be great to see him bring his channel back. I bought my first PCP due to his test of one.

As Dana said, Paul runs Pitbull Airguns now.
I too bought my first PCP many years ago after watching his videos.
I forwarded this chat to him so he might chime in.
But all in all he's doing well
He graduated from Airgun reporter on Youtube and became American Airgunner on the outdoor channel.
Then sold it and traveled the streets of NY filming with hopes to do a docu-series.
Got an offer to work at Utah Airguns but after a short period decided it wasn't for him.
I heard he was looking for something new and so i offered him a home in San Angelo Texas.
Hes been here for about 8 years i think.

Now he and I do mad scientist stuff with Bulldogs and other PCPs here at Pitbull Airguns.

Paul is an iconic figure in the Airgun community, at least on my end. His videos got lots of folks excited and involved in Airguns. Paul is in fact doing well and works at Pitbull Airguns building and modifying the Benjamin Bulldogs out in TX. You can find him on the Pitbull Airguns YouTube channel.
Thank you for the info. I haven't had contact with him for a long time and it's good to hear that he's doing well. He made the first product videos for us 11-12 years ago!

Good to hear. Glad he's doing well.
