Pathfinder XR, Mauling the pest birds…

Took my .22 Pathfinder XR out tonight, I took eleven shots, missed once. Kills at 25-50+ yards. The gun is simply murder on the sparrows and starlings, any center mass hit and they crumple. Took multiple Eurasian Doves at 50 yards, being larger birds. I try to be more precise with shot placement. Was only able to police up the pictured unfortunates… Sending CPHPs… The little Pathfinder XR if not “overscoped” is simply a sweet pester. Most of the kills on 6x magnification… 22 kills in the last two nights…

Nice. The Eurasian doves are about the only bird that I have an opportunity to shoot down here. Only a couple a year. Luckily most birds I see are native.
I need to find some people that need help eliminating Egyptian geese in their ponds. I’m ready!

I briefly looked at a pathfinder while looking the atomic. It was out of stock so that quickened the decision

If I had to choose between the two…? Atomic all the way… a super practical PCP. And easy to pump by hand if you’re fit.
