Notos Notos or PP750?

Im looking for a low power pcp for ratting and barn work. I was going to pick up a brk atomic, but got to thinking. I have several high end guns that are setup for certain jobs, but why do I need to spend another $1k plus for a low power, short distance setup?

I decided to look into the notos, but 2 things seem to always stop me from pulling the trigger. First, the moderator is fixed, making it a no go to use my favorite moderators or even try to make it quieter than it is.
Second, the cocking lever was put on the left. No idea why umarex did this, but I find it difficult to remain on target placed here. I owned an rti prophet, and sold it just for that reason. I just couldn’t get used to it.

So now there’s the PP750. I’ve owned one of these in the past, but it was used, and had some work done to it at veradium air (not sure if they’re still in business), and it was a super fun little shooter. I sold it for bigger and better things, but always look back and think I should have kept it.
So it’s pretty much the same gun as the notos, but has the cocking lever on the right, and the shitty 2 rod style retractable stock that while it has cool factor, is pretty impractical.

So which one would you get? Similarly priced. Basically same gun.

Notos serms a lot of happy guys with it and can buy here in the usa and maybe easy support from umarex .

The 750 is nice as well but not a usa item . I guess you buy overseas and then it's your baby or looking overseas..

Also if you buy a notos from say P.A And its a lemon you got easy rma ,/ return policy ..

Very good points!

I can’t speak to the PP750 as I don’t own one but I like my Notos very much. As far as the fixed moderator goes, I wish it was removable but in all honesty it’s pretty frikkin quiet. Great accuracy out to 50yds. Adequate power for critter control. Just about the handiest little thing you’ve ever seen. Because it’s been selling so well and we all are wanting to see some changes in the same areas, I expect to see a lot of aftermarket options appear for it, much like there was in the Marauder’s heyday.
For the price it can’t hurt to give it a try.

I see very few complaining.. really most that do is because the moderator is fixed / not removable..lol. Shooting .. happy campers.

Yes. There is an occasional issue with pellets binding as you try to load them, depending on how you are holding the rifle when you cycle the bolt. It’s ridiculous. But the cheap CARM magazines for it are supposed to be trouble free. As a matter of fact now that I mention it I need to get an order in for a couple of them while it’s on my mind. Also going to order a couple for my Evol.

Right , but that a near every pcp.. and they run to charm to help resolve..lol

I think for the money and buy covenant the notos is looking nice..

Single shot flip loader works in both

Ok, so next question.
Where do I buy? I’m not a big fan of pyramyd air. They’ve given me issues in the past.
Is there anywhere else?
I looked on Amazon, and it looks like pyramyd ships them when you buy from Amazon anyway.

After having hands on both I can say the Notos is my choice for close range Ratting over the pp750. I really like having the cocking on the left side, from a stationary position for shooting rats I don't need to take my finger off the trigger. My only complaint initially was the trigger, in stock form still better than pp750 and with some adjustment it's actually really decent. The gun is pretty quiet for backyard use, see no reason to change out the moderator although I know some have. This shows my early experience with the gun as well as some backyard ratting.

You can buy direct from Umarex USA. I believe that AoA had them too...

I have a notos, no experience with the 750. This right here is about right, the only issue I've had was with the stock magazine. NOT great. Replaced with the carm mags and perfect. The gun is also quiet as it comes and holds poi even with bumping around.

Side note, also have the carm mags for my Evol. Excellent spare mags for pellets, but not great for slugs. Just FYI.

I bought my Notos from Natchez Shooting and Outdoor during their 4th of July sale for a great price delivered to my door.. They currently list it for $233.99. We are close to Labor Day so look for some sales there or other vendors.

I also got mine from Natchez. I think I paid $220 for it. Shoots real well. magazine not so much. I really like it.

Hear a lot of gripes with the magazine. Does it still come with the single shot tray? At least so I can test accuracy while waiting for my carm mags to come un
Yes, it comes with a single shot tray. I used it for all my Notes testing and still use it until I get a few CARM magazines. Also going to order a CARM single shot loader for my Notes.

Would something like this be the 2 point key to screw it out ,?
