New Weihrauch Breakbarrel Models Now At AoA

There’s two new Weihrauch breakbarrel models now available at Airguns of Arizona. They’re the HW35 K and HW95 S.

You know, it must be very tough for Weihrauch designers! They have a long-running and comprehensive series of spring/piston breakbarrel air rifles that are loved by shooters.

Their guns have been the subject of continuous subtle refinements over the years and are widely recognized as being close to perfection. So what can you do to improve them?

If you change too much and alter the character and “soul” of these classic guns, there likely would be a HUGE backlash. After all, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!”

But everyone wants to see a new model at times. So stock improvements are a great way to do this…

Naturally, buyers’ stock preferences change over time and with fashion. Plus, new stocks can also make possible handling improvements that – while looking small in a photograph – make a big improvement in actual field use.

Our photographs above show the new HW35 K. “K” stands for “Kurz”. It’s the German word for short and refers to the shorter barrel used by this model. There’s a new hardwood beech stock with subtle changes to the profile and beautiful checkering.

The price is $549.99 and you have the options of adding AoA’s tune services and extended warranty, should you choose.

The other new model is shown in the photos below. This is latest version of the HW95 S.

As Weihrauch afficionados know, this is a higher-powered model than the HW35 S. It’s also available in .20 caliber, in addition to the regular .177 and .22 calibers.

This new hardwood stock has a walnut finish. The design includes an adjustable cheekpiece. There’s also an adjustable rubber buttpad, too.

This new adjustibility will be appreciated by users, particularly when using a scope on their air rifle. Prices start from $749.99.

Glad to see some additional offerings. I personally would like to see the blue laminate show up on some other models, most notably the HW30S, as well as the HW35 series. Keep them coming Weihrauch.

I think that the hw35 will be the next one. Waiting on the 75th edition to decide which one.
